We first came to Highland Axe Throwing back in 2023 and had a great time, so when we were looking for something fun to do again in 2026, this was an easy choice. This time, we brought friends — all four of us — and it was an absolute blast.
The atmosphere is energetic, welcoming, and perfect for groups. The staff does an amazing job explaining the rules, giving tips, and keeping things fun whether you’re a first-timer or coming back for round two. It turned into friendly competition fast, with lots of laughs and great memories made.
If you’re looking for a unique group activity, date night idea, or something different to do with friends, this place delivers every time. Clearly just as fun years later — we’ll definitely be back again!

Highland axe throwing is amazing! Super fun, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have a league night which gives you so much bang for your buck and a great community vibe. The coaches helped me learn to look like I know what I’m doing. Great selection of beer considering the size of the location. They don’t serve food, but allow you to bring food from one of the many great options in the Grove area. 11/10 great experience every time!

The girlfriend and I brought her nine-year-old son here and had an amazing time. The owner is awesome comes over helps make sure everyone knows how to throw the ax and by the end the nine-year-old was killing it. We will definitely go back. I had a great time. Great drinks great atmosphere great ownership.

Took my Dad and teenage sons and had an absolute blast! Great safe environment and excellent coaching. The boys were asking to come back with their friends before we even left. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! We went with some friends who had been here before, and it was our first time going axe throwing ever and it was a BLAST ! The staff was amazing, the atmosphere was great, the vibe was great, and it was just SO much fun! Thank you for such a great experience we will FOR SURE be back!

We came here with friends of a rainy Sunday. They were on vacation and we wanted to be sure they had fun rather than staying in.
The staff was AMAZING! They gave us tips when they noticed some of us struggling and the tips worked!
Best thing of all, they carry Poppi probiotic soda which blew my mind and made my day (don’t worry, they also sell beer and regular people drinks)

I just love the atmosphere of this place. Great location to have fun, listen to music, and have a few drinks. No experience needed as the coaches are fantastic! They have outside seating area overlooking the main street. I look forward to coming back again.

Planned some axe-throwing as date night and it was awesome. Coach Shaun was great and fun, he kept circling to check how we were doing and provide pointers. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Super recommend this place for date, hangouts/outings. It’s best to get an early reservation since as the night progresses, it gets really busy. Definitely a 10/10!

2026. Good staff, good throwing ax experience, alcohol is served, good pre- game presentation on safety. Loooong process registration will discourage me from returning. But other than that it was good.
