I came here specifically because they serve Guinness on tap. Although I was a bit disappointed they didn’t use a proper Guinness glass, I still enjoyed the atmosphere with a cold pint and a few simple side dishes. It’s definitely a place worth recommending.

After reading such positive reviews, we were looking forward to a great meal at a reasonable price. Ugh, so disappointed…she ordered the Steak Frites, fries were cold, steak was so tough, and cooked with no seasoning. I ordered the French onion soup…it presented perfect, but zero flavor. Do these cooks ever taste there food? I also ordered the spicy mack and cheese. Came out cold, and the pasta was…well I don’t know what type it was. Our server was great. I let her know about a couple of things that needed improvement. She was very understanding and didn’t charge for the mac and cheese. I don’t usually let the server know of issues, but everything we had ordered, was not good. I noticed three other orders being sent back to the kitchen as well. Two things need to be fixed. 1) They need a food expedite for the servers. 2) Then cooks need to taste what they are serving.

I got this BLT long ago and coming back to Bend, I texted my Friend to remind me of the place we got the most amazing BLT ever, and seconds later I was showing up at the time they opened (11am) no regrets

The first time here and we really enjoyed the food. Beer selection is awesome, and they have cocktails as well. I had the steak sandwich, and the chimchurri on it was D-lish.

Great menu selection. I ended up with the fish sandwich. I was a little hesitant to order but waitress said it was her fav and it def did not disappoint. I did add the ceaser salad and it was even better than the sandwich.

We haven’t been to the Ale house in many many years, and wanted to have a meal out with our kids over the holidays after being cooped at home. We waited a decent amount of time for a table (60 mins?) next to the door (really chilly). The real issue was how long we waited for our food after waiting for our table, about 40 minutes. Staff let us know they had multiple call out in the kitchen, which we can empathize with as we are also long term food service member in this community. But truly, service should have been altered in some meaningful way – send a server to the kitchen, or the hostess, I cannot believe how hamstringed this restaurant was when down a staff or two in BOH. A food service pillar in this town should be striving for more – Ownership, give your staff the tools they need if they do not have the staff they need. Do better.

A great place with always dependable food. I love the large selection of different sandwiches, such as the french dip that i had, it was perfect! They also have amazing buffalo wings that are big and juicy. Don’t forget to try the bomb sauce with your fries or tots.

Super Friendly Waitress and Hostess. They both made sure we had excellent service. The variety of beer was good. We got the Alehouse Club Sandwich and Chicken Pesto Macaroni. The Alehouse Club sandwich was an exceptional delicious portion. The Chicken Pesto was also tasty. Just be aware upgrading from a standard side such as chips to soup, salad, or fries is a costly $4 surcharge. Overall it’s definitely a good place to check out in Bend.

Friendly staff. The prices are very reasonable. I had the steak dinner for $22.00. I also had a Long Island Ice Tea that was made correctly, and they didn’t skimp on the alcohol. Great experience!
