We had reservations but waited over 30 minutes to be seated. The service was a little on the slow side. The food was good. It was flavorful. Good portion size. The drinks was not what I expected. My magaritas tasted like club soda and the whiskey sour certainly didn’t taste like a whiskey sour. The staff was polite.

We have always loved this place for the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. (Used to be Sage Bistro)

They are doing everything to survive this Covid season and we have eaten outside multiple times, over the summer.

Well, it’s November now. We just participated in their $25 per person take out. You get a salad, an appetizer and main course (all regular sized) and same fantastic food. And if you get 2 , you get a free bottle of wine. We just finished my sole meuniere and my wife’s, salmon grilled. Fantastic. And the wine was great.

Keep your great local places going these tough times. For what is maybe double a McDonald’s meal in cost, simply a great value and place

We have been going here a couple times every year (formerly Sage Bistro) and never disappointed. French onion soup and Risotto were on point, Steak was cooked perfectly and the presentation was excellent. My husband had the Coq au Vin and it was better than the last time..

They are doing some good work back in that kitchen!

I was dissapointed when I saw Sage Bistro closing, it was one of my families favorite places! When it re-opened as Epicure I was honestly a little hesitant. I didnt think the food would be able to live up to what Sage offered. But, we tried there pre-fix take-out and now we cant get enough. Sure, there not the gigantic portions that other restaurants in town offer but the food is mouth-watering good. The atmosphere is terrific with their stylish new look and the service is always top-notch. I cant reccomend this place enough!

Did the three course take out. The bistro salad was unremarkable but it is quite hard to screw up a salad. The Buffalo chicken meatballs…where do I start? Awful. There was NO buffalo flavor anywhere. There was entirely too much salt and pepper to attempt to flavor the meatballs. So much so that my mouth was having a tough time distinguishing whether the salt or pepper was the more dominant flavor until the “I had too much salt” aftertaste was left with the residual burn from the excessive black pepper. It was trash. The bistro steak, not awful but really unremarkable. Unremarkable enough to not make me forget the awful meatballs, or even to get me to come back.

“We would have been better off going to a diner.”

I stopped in here for lunch today. Previously, this was Sage Bistro, a place I’d been several times, and always had a good meal. Sage Bisro was also connected to other, similar restaurants, all of the same solid quality.

Everything pointed to a similar experience: The decor, the menu, and the service (and the prices). But then the food came, and…it was bad. Like, shockingly mediocre, beyond any reason of expectation. The adjectives bland, soggy, and dry most cone to mind, especially BLAND. If was left truly surprised, and wondering how this had happened.

It really a shame. As I mentioned, there are similar-style restaurants on the island which, last I checked, were still lovely. How did this go so wrong? I’m willing to believe dinner time, non-restautant week might offer something better, but can only go by what I was served. I will not be back.

Last minute deciding to go out with another couple on a Saturday night we ventured to try Epicure. We will definitely be going back soon! The Filet Migion Risotto was so delicious! Paired with Pinot Nior “Sideways” was perfect. My husband is a chef so we tend to be a bit critical when we try new restaurants and are all too often not impressed. The food and the service were a delight. We also ordered Escargot, Mussels, Zucchini Pancakes & Chicken Roti. Compliments to the Chef! Thank you Epicure for a great night out!

Went last night for restaurant week, worst dinner we have had in years!! They tried to pass off white bass or swai for filet of sole! The gravy was heavy you could taste the flour! The mashed potatoes were pasty ,horrible!! Dessert ,Key lime cheesecake was frozen from restaurant depot!! Everyone in our group had many problems with their meals!!

Been there a few times. Started out at 5 stars. Moved to two stars fast. Too long of a wait for food and they can’t cook a steak right. Waitstaff excellent. Kitchen needs to get it together.

Awesome salmon, steak, & risotto. Pricey, but as usual, you get what you pay for. As for the one-star review here, consider the source: 9 reviews, 7 one-star. Tough audience!
