Coming from someone who worked AT a teriyaki shop, this was my experience today.
The person behind the counter could care less about your feelings or his service. Which I am assuming is the owner.
Came in for a Uber Eats pick up today, and was told they never received anything. I felt uncomfortable as SOON as I walked in. I showed him about two times on MY SIDE of the order, and he still told me he never got the order on his side.
I understand if you didn’t receive my order, but the least u could do was help me just a little? I had to run 3 times to subway to use their wifi because my wifi wasn’t working. Keep in mind it was pouring rain. Just to show him the “proof” of the receipt that HE ASKED to see only to tell me at the end that he still never received my order and never gave me an order nor helped me one bit. All he told me to do was to contact uber.
Super unhelpful and rude to customers asking simple questions. Didn’t even get a chance to try their food. I would give them zero stars if I could. They don’t reply to reviews and you can see the most recent ones are all negative. U don’t need anymore proof other than they suck.
Bottom line, if you work around here. Don’t ever order from the third party like Uber Eats for pick up for ur breaks/lunch. He looks at u like it’s your fault that uber didn’t send it through. Don’t even bother having delivery services if you’re just gonna blame it on the app and tell ur customer to call them for help when they SHOW PROOF. Ridiculous.

I just ordered their beef teriyaki extra beef and fried rice instead of white. Me and my coworkers both agreed that it smelled just like a wet dog. I didn’t want to eat it. I even asked a customer that was there if it smelled like a wet dog and he agreed. It was a $30 meal. When I tried to get a refund they refused. Smell you food before you eat if you go there. Something is off.

I have been here twice and both times the person behind the counter (male) has been extremely rude. Today, I was opening my pick up order to add more sauce (as I like a lot) and the counter person started arguing with me that I couldn’t have more sauce. I asked him “how much”, I’ll pay. He said $36 for the bottle, for dine in customers only. I paid over $25 for my meal. The fried items were burnt and generally, the meal was of poor quality. If he is so CHEAP about more sauce. Make you wonder what other corners he is cutting to save a penny. STEPPING OVER DOLLARS TO PICK UP DIMES. I will never order from there again and I am telling all my co-workers to avoid.

Owner was extremely rude. I went to pay with my card and I accidently pulled my card to soon and instantly yelled at me and told me to follow instructions and said “can’t you read?!” I cussed him out and paid and left. I will never go back. You don’t treat paying customers like that. Go to the bento place right next door just a chicken combo only was $17-18.

BUG alert! Unless you’re that cockroach dude from the original Men in Black, I would steer clear of this place. Nice and beautiful bug found in the Kung Pao chicken! Definitely didn’t order supplemental bug protein. The food wasn’t that great to begin with, but a bug won’t help… My wife called to alert the owner only to be told she was crazy and dismissed the whole thing. Horrible… Stay away!

They have really gone downhill with the new owners so i stopped coming here for a couple years but gave them another chance today and they are worse than before! They used to serve your food on a real plate with real utensils now you get a plastic box with a tiny plastic fork, I prefer fountain soda but they said it doesn’t work so I get a plastic bottle of soda, food was OK but the portions seem to have shrunk and they won’t accommodate any special dish requests like they used to, I’m here in the middle of lunch hour and there is 1 other person here, this place used to be packed during lunch so what does that tell you, plus their prices have gone way up, I think I used to pay like $14 and today it was $21 for 1 entree and a drink. Guy at the counter seemed very annoyed that i couldnt understand his English because of his thick accent, I won’t be back.

Normally when I go to this place (which is quite often), I typically get the same order and the food is relatively decent with no issues. However, today after carrying my food home for my spouse and I, I had found a roach in my food! How unsanitary and disgusting! I was looking forward to eating my dinner as anyone would, but then to find a roach in your food, is unsettling. I didn’t even get an opportunity to eat my teriyaki chicken. After spending close to $40 on our food, we now have to toss it away and find something else to eat for dinner. I would also like to add that while being in the restaurant before leaving, I was told by the guy working at the counter that I wasn’t allowed to put more teriyaki sauce/soy sauce on my food. I dont understand why I couldn’t be allowed to do so, if the bottles of the teriyaki sauce and soy sauce are on every table in the restaurant for customers to use? I know for a fact he wouldn’t have said anything if I was sitting down eating with my spouse. He also said this infront of other people which was embarrassing. It was rude and kind of uncalled for. If you don’t want customers using items on the tables, then you shouldn’t put them on the tables for customers to use in the first place! After today, we will not be going back and I feel as if the health department should be notified by this as well!

Awful! I went there because Thai Valley was closed. I ordered beef fried rice and it was smelling like it has not marinated at all. I couldn’t eat, i told them and they weren’t even sorry, they were like it has been marinated and there is no problem at all! I left the food untouched on the counter and they didn’t offer anything to make it up for me!
