My wife and I stopped by the newly opened Dairy-O in Harrisburg, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is spotless, modern, and very welcoming. You can tell everything is brand new and well taken care of.
The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, especially during what looked like a busy time. The menu has may options of hamburgers, ice cream and shakes. Our food came out fresh and hot. My wife ordered the Cheeseburger Pita and I got a Pineapple Sunday. Everything was pretty decent and as expected.
Common areas were clean and comfortable, and there is plenty of free parking.
It’s so nice to have another great family-friendly spot right here in Harrisburg. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch, dinner with the kids, or just stopping in for a sweet treat, this new Dairy Queen is a fantastic addition to the area. We’ll definitely be back!

Ate at Dairi-O and it was fantastic! The sweet potato fries were so good. The burger tastes more homemade than fast food. The breading on the chicken tenders had a lot of flavor. My sundae was to die for but you can’t mess that up. Every employee was hustling and super friendly and it was clean. The drive through was packed. We walked in around 6:30/6:45 to only 4 people in line before us, got our food in about 10 mins, and by 7:15 the line was probably 30 people long inside. The jalapeño ranch was very good. My one complaint is that we couldn’t sub the kids meal side for anything else – IMO I should be able to pay an up charge and get her a fruit cup instead of fries.

**Update** the burger and onion rings were off the chain! I have to say, because I’m pretty picky with food, it was delightful. Definitely tastes almost homemade, the toppings were well integrated but not mushy. The onion rings were awesome, just the right amount of breading. Will definitely be back.
Update. Don’t sleep on the spicy fried chicken wrap either. The perfect combination of sweet and spicy. Excellent!

I am impressed. I have seen these restaurants in the Winston Salem area but never tried it. They recently opened here and we live close by and said “Why not?” I am so glad we did because I have found my new favorite fast food spot. My wife had the chicken sandwich combo and loved it. I had the two hot dog combo and upgraded to chili cheese fries. It was THE BOMB. I’m excited to go back and try the burgers, onion rings, and BBQ sandwich. Service was better than Chick-Fil-A and everything was super clean from what we could see from the drive thru. 10/10.

I am truly satisfied and felt very welcomed. Thee food is very delicious and fresh. Being served by the employees I was at ease. They were pleasant and very polite. The manager on this day Luke is awesome. I enjoyed the music selection he played while I dined in. The music really set the atmosphere. I have never been to a fast food restaurant and heard gospel music playing. This establishment stand to be the best in my book.

I had such a great experience at Dario! The food was absolutely delicious everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The environment was really welcoming and had such a good vibe overall. A special shoutout to Abbey at the register. I’m not one to go out my way to give a cash tip but she was so kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. She made the whole experience even better with her positive attitude and huge smile. When nobody was at the front ordering, you can definitely tell how much positive energy and fun she brings, seeing her and her coworkers laughing yet also going straight to taking an order when someone comes. Food took a little long but Abbey informed me it does take the longest to make since it was fish. Definitely will be coming back!

I had the best experience at Dairy-O today thanks to Luke. I accidentally pulled into their drive-thru thinking it was the restaurant next door, and instead of making me feel awkward, Luke was incredibly kind and welcoming. He helped me pick something from the menu and completely surprised me with his generosity and friendliness. The food was great, but his kindness is what really stood out. It truly made my day. Dairy-O gained a new customer, and I’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Luke and Dairy-O for such wonderful service!

I visited Dairi-O in Harrisburg for the first time on Friday, 2/20/26. My experience in this restaurant was wonderful. From Janiece who was welcoming and pleasant while I placed my order, to Kevin (one of the managers) who made sure the error on my order was resolved. Their attention to details and their customer service is a 10/10. I returned on 3/1/26 with our granddaughters and their parents. The service was again 10/10, a
wonderful place to take your family. Thank you Kevin, Janeice and all of the other associates who are true professionals; you serve in excellence. I want you to know that you are doing an Amazing job and it is appreciated.

I’ve been coming there since the grand opening and have had amazing service and food flawlessly. At first it was a little rocky with the traffic but they have always improved and ways to accommodate everybody who comes there including myself! And a special shout-out to the drive-thru crew member named Bree who always show excellent customer service and a bright smile and some laughs when I see her… You guys picked great people to represent your establishment. Keep up the good work!

What a great place. It definitely has come a long way since opening. Young gentleman in this drive thru with the black shirt I believe his name was either Garrison or Harrison but he was a wonderful guy. I could tell he had his handful with the lot of gentlemen running orders but he knew exactly how to guide them as well as making sure people were able to get out of the drive thru without waiting too long. All the while he was the most motivated and kind gentleman to talk to while we waited for our order and while we were there we noticed he was doing this with everyone he was able to. Asked us how we were and if we needed anything assuring us he could answer any questions we had and overall was just a happy guy which is great to see.
Great job Dairi o we will be back.
