Its horrible. Use to be good when they started out. I became a regular customer going every 2 weeks. Prices went up which its fine and normal. Until now they charge you and extra % to pay without communicating it with you. And that is apart from the regular taxes and tip. That is ridiculous and a rip off

Let’s start with the pros. The food was actually pretty good. The ambiance was nice and well decorated.
The cons: the service and the staff were just meh. It took over 20 mins for a grilled chicken meal. And the staff behind the counter couldn’t understood English very well. I had to dust off my Español speaking chops just to place an order.
What annoyed me the most was the amount of flies that were just hanging around the restaurant as if they lived there. At one point, the lady behind the counter brought out a fly swatter to try and combat the problem.
I would definitely NOT Recommend this place. 3-stars!

I have never had so much fun at lunch. I speak no Spanish and they spoke no English and between us had the best time! Elizabeth and Tania are simply fantastic, both have fabulous energy that makes you feel absolutely welcome and certainly get added to my 5star energy list. #chickenhouse5 served up a great Plato De La Casa! Plenty of parking, nice open space for a quick lunch

I came in on a Thursday afternoon. The place is pleasantly decorated. I ordered the daily special (braised pork ribs rice and beans and salad). My order took 35 min to arrive at my table. Which is very frustrating considering there were only 2 other tables being served at the time. I received 2 thin boned ribs swimming in a gravy boat of what tasted like bbq sauce. The salad was just a pile of shredded cabbage with no dressing. The beans were completely dry almost pasty. My companion’s order was incorrect and missing mixed vegetables. They took his plate back to get them, and took an additional 30 min. for him to receive his food back. Overall the service was terrible. The lack of attention from the wait staff was unbelievable. Aside from 2 out of 3 orders being brought out incorrectly, the waiter never came back to check on us (not once) while we waited for our food. Someone else brought our food out. Once we were done he finally came back only to clear the plates. The quality of the food was subpar. The tostones were drenched in oil and stale. Overall very disappointed. Needless to say my friends and I will not be coming back.
