We love 167 Raw and have been going there for over 7 years. The swordfish pastrami sandwich is our favorite and we split it everytime, along with some of our other favorites: tuna tataki, ceviche (changes daily), shrimp tacos, and I always start with an oyster shooter! Plan to put your name in and walk along King Street while you wait, including chilling at the new American Park down the street one block towards Broad Street. The wait is well worth it! Or go right when they open at 11am to avoid the wait!

Third visit and 167 Raw continues to deliver. It was restaurant week and I ordered the prix fixe lunch special. The raw oysters and the accoutrements were the perfect start. Their oyster po-boy is delicious and a work of art. The key lime pie — chef’s kiss. Plus the bartender was attentive and friendly. A must stop while in the Holy City!

I’m writing this review specifically because of the fried oysters. This was our first meal after arriving in Charleston, and we decided to keep it simple.
I first tried the raw oysters, and they were silky and fresh, but quite salty. So I assumed the fried oysters would also be salty. But the first bite honestly surprised me.
Visually, they didn’t look like the typical fried oysters, and the creamy sauce gave them such a rich, full flavor.
A wonderful surprise overall! I hope I can come back for the lobster roll!!

One of the best restaurants in Charleston! They do not take reservations but any wait time they give you is worth the wait!!! The tuna tataki and tuna burger were insane. Oysters fresh and delicious. Service was also great, our server made perfect recommendations and helped us make decisions on what to order. Wish we lived here because we’d be in once a week.

Sat at the bar for lunch. Got 6 Bayview Oysters which were the best we had on the trip by far. I had a lobster roll & wife lobster agnolotti. Both fantastic. A bottle of petite chablis & we were quite happy. Service was excellent and both bar tenders very friendly. This for sure is a top notch restaurant and great experience. A must go.

We were in town from Dallas visiting and we heard this was the restaurant that we had to eat at while in town. I had the shrimp Po’ boy sandwich with the potatoes and it blew me away! The bread melted in your mouth and it’s by far the best po’boy I’ve ever had. The potatoes were out of this world good. I told my wife that I’d fly back here just to have this again.

The tuna tataki and lobster agnolotti are unmatched. Had a fantastic meal here. We can’t wait to come back to Charleston to eat here again! Everything we got was fantastic including the oysters and swordfish sandwich.

Food is solid I liked the tuna burger. Service is ok. It was a little darker than I thought from the pics (dimly lit fine dining vibes) and no WiFi

Oysters we’re decent but definitely nothing to brag about. Most were salty but there was a decent selection. Other menu items were a bit limited seemed to be well liked by customers. Alcohol prices were way too high comparatively. Worth trying but expect to pay a premium for the name and experience
