Not bad at all, Staff was friendly!
I built my own burger and all of the ingredients tasted fresh, and well made. The patty was defiantly not pre frozen or poorly made. And they bun tasted like it was fresh bread. An amazing amount of bacon under the cheese in the pic.
I’m sorry I didn’t take a picture but they have a giant Pretzel for an appetizer which was really good! But the sauces left a bit to be desired. It was just commercial, Spicy brown mustard, yellow mustard, and nacho cheese.
I will totally go here again and post more pics.

Amazing! Great food and Specials. The Wings are spectacular, my favorite I had was the Creole Ranch! Top Notch. 50¢ Wing Night on Mondays, Traditional or Boneless! Top it with $2 Lagers and $3 Landsharks. Can’t go wrong! Taylor is an excellent waitress and served the whole restaurant and bar, and it was very busy! Great job by all.

The vibe in this establishment is amazing and the staff work harder than anyone I know. The food, especially the wings, is second to none. Shoutout to the best staff ever Gavin and Ray making things happen even when short staffed. Also please try to find a place with a better beer selection! Five stars every time.

This place is just awesome, Old school vibes with modern twists.. smart and friendly options for food and discount… all their frying oil is beef tallow, which just goes to show you the care for quality and service to their customers, it’s much more expensive to do that than these harmful seed oils.. the wings and fries are off the freaking charts.

We stopped in a few weeks ago for the first time and I’m certainly glad we did! I had the Grand Central Burger and it was the best burger I’ve had in a long time! It was cooked just the way I like it (medium rare) and was so juicy and delicious.
My wife had the Almost Turkey Club and even though it’s not something I would order out, it looked really good. She really liked it and said she would definitely order it again.
The onion rings were also very good. We’re looking forward to going back soon!

My partner and I dine at Grand Central Taproom (GCT) quite often. I’ve wanted to write this review for awhile and decided to compose today because we haven’t been in a bit (typical life stuff). If forced to choose one reason why we love GCT, it’s because we’re always taken care of here. Notable – we prefer sitting at the bar. The following are three reasons GCT stands out for us:
1. They’ve got a healthy selection of beer types and always have a variety of Stouts (my preferred type). Though I don’t come to GCT for cocktails or mixed drinks, I need to shine attention to them because they’re always well thought out. They use fresh fruits for their seasonal sangrias and creativity for the holidays.
2. GCT menu items almost always come out delicious but please know the menu isn’t large. You’ll always get freshly made fries. Burgers are juicy. Wings are on the larger side with plenty of sauces to choose from (I look forward to special sauces on wing night). Please note, you may wait longer than you’d prefer, but it’s always worth it. I suspect this is the case due to a smaller kitchen and made to order items. Also, I rated food a “4” due to what I suspect is a recent change in the fryer oil. I’m not sure I’m a fan, but that could just be my personal palate issue. My partner couldn’t taste the difference.
3. As mentioned above, we’re always taken care of. Jenn and staff are rockstars. I gave atmosphere a 4 due to the below explanation. Otherwise, it’s always been a 5.
Some other observations:
I suspect lots of people love GCT because we see so many repeat customers. However, like any restaurant, staffing deficits can effect the vibe. 2025 late spring/early summer, I think they had some difficulty staffing busy nights and unfortunately, that means longer waits, to go orders are cut off and our bartenders are stretched thin. I need to identify that though wait-staffing was the issue, I know they have lifers behind the bar and in the kitchen. Having hiccups like these indicate this establishment is desirable.
They have a variety of specials on almost all nights. They have rotating entertainment here that has its own (healthy) cult like following (trivia).
I mentioned earlier, the menu is small. Much of the menu is a “bar menu.” However, they enjoy doing finer dinner dishes (and drinks) as specials on various nights. If you’re looking for a “dinner” dinner, check out their social media to see what the specials are! Cheers to on going success (and Stouts).

We haven’t been to the Central Taproom in 3 or 4 months, but used to go quite often and enjoyed it. Went today, door was still locked after opening but no big deal the bartender let us in. Service was quick, she gave us the wing special, which was .75 a wing, it did say on the menue “No Boxes” we ordered anyway. My wife ordered 6 and I ordered 12. My wife also ordered fries. In the end we could not finish them and were not allowed too take the left overs with us. Someone tell me how that makes sense, what do they do with the food left on the table. When I asked how it makes any sense the bartender right away elevated it saying I was raising my voice, which I was not. We just wanted to know the logic behind it. I was told I no nothing about the business but never how it made sense. We paid and left, with a lot of food on the table. What a waste. In the end the wings were dry, my wife said the Fries was s weren’t bad.
