This is the first time in my life I have encountered such rude and disrespectful employees. I will be reporting the details of this situation to Dunkin’ customer service.
I would also like to say this to the employees: if you are unhappy with your job, please do not do it. There are people outside who are unemployed and would be willing to do this work. I hope this situation is corrected as soon as possible
As a loyal Dunkin’ customer, I was extremely disappointed by a recent experience at this location due to the unprofessional behavior of the manager.
I ordered a Box O’ Joe through the drive-thru and was kindly assisted by a young African-American female employee who said I could receive 2–3 extra cups. While waiting, another staff member brought the coffee but forgot the cups, cream, and sugar. He was polite and went back inside to get them. I also went in to remind them about the extra cups.
While speaking to the staff member, a woman suddenly began yelling from across the store. She identified herself as the manager and continued shouting despite me calmly explaining there was no issue. I approached her to avoid a scene and asked for the extra cups. She rudely refused, citing “corporate policy,” even after the drive-thru employee confirmed it was okay. I offered to pay, but she still refused and remained hostile.
She also appeared visibly sick, had poor oral hygiene (teeth appears decaying), and was handling food without PPE while shouting as she was fixing the donut case—raising serious health concerns. When I asked her name, she said “Nora,” though I’m not sure if its true – she is caucasion. After I said I would contact corporate, she and another employee laughed.
This experience was unacceptable and reflects poorly on the Dunkin’ brand. The other staff were professional, respectful and kind, but the manager created a hostile and unsanitary environment. I urge Dunkin’ to investigate this matter.
A simple order ( Bagels w cream cheese- Dark toasted ) stressed that to the lady by the window.
Got it as white and as soft as it gets .
Kindly asked for it to be fixed.
She took the one I had (which is a health hazard ). Didnt through it away ! Nope, she toasted it to the correct requested level . Bit to it again, burned myself no kidding ! Burned my mouth and tongue and realized that it came back with dried cheese bagel! From the heat! Duh!
but anyhow. I didn’t argue, I simply reordered it again and guess what . Same thing happened again. The lady by the window was very unwilling to help, and was very upset.
I don’t know which should be upset here. I literally bit into melted fat!
How could they give customers such high temped items!!!
Not about the money . I paid for the second round without even discussing it. But it is simply about attitude, manners, customer service and most importantly safety!!!
