I recently stopped by Pappy’s for their All-Beef Breakfast, and it definitely stood out from a typical breakfast plate. The all-beef sausage had great flavor and a solid texture—juicy, well cooked, and you could tell it wasn’t your average breakfast sausage. It gave the whole meal a richer taste compared to the usual pork options.

The eggs were cooked just right and paired well with the beef, and the portion size was generous enough to leave satisfied without feeling overly heavy. Everything came out hot and fresh, which always makes a big difference for breakfast.

If you’re someone who prefers beef over pork or just wants something a little different from the typical breakfast lineup, the All-Beef Breakfast at Pappy’s is definitely worth trying. Solid meal, good flavor, and a nice change from the standard breakfast options.

My first time here and I was very happy with the food! The philly cheesesteak was delicious and the fries were perfectly seasoned and fresh!
It was the cashier we interacted with’s second day there and he was nice and patient with us as we explored the menu.
My only critique is the actual restaurant decor/ambiance wise isn’t the best but who cares if the food is good.
Will definitely be back.

Pappy’s has never been a substitute for the many places in Chicago that have Chicago style hot dogs, Italian Beef, etc. But the food was at least fair. I had a craving for a hot dog and made the mistake of stopping in here tonight. No one asked me what I wanted on the hot dogs. They just put what they wanted on it. I got home and found both buns were hard as a rock and stale. I had to take the hot dogs out of the buns and eat them with a fork. Not sure what kid of hot dogs these were, but they were not Vienna and I doubt they were all beef. Poor quality. Disgusting! I’m often disappointed with the food in Minneapolis and this experience was no different. If I have a taste for Chicago food, I’ll wait until I visit the city again. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

Delicious food, I world come more often if they cleaned it up. Cooks need hair nets, restrooms need regular cleaning, makes me wonder about the kitchen .

This was worth my 20 mile drive. When I was at home, I told myself this better be worth my drive. To my suprise the food was great and hot. The fries are real potatoes and crispy. The Maxwell Street Polish sausage I got was great. I will be doing this drive more often for food this good.

Good food, nearly comparable to Portillo’s but more affordable for the family. This particular neighbor hood is a little sketchy though. The place is busy, so plan accordingly. Do NOT order through door dash unless you have a plentiful supply of Vaseline on hand because you’ll get a stiff upcharge on the base price of the food, in addition to the middle man fees, carpet tax, tea tax, etc. The hot dogs are all great. The Italian Beef is superb!

I came in recently because I love chicken wings and I wanted to try a new spot. I walked in and the place looks like i hasn’t been cleaned in a few days. The cashier DID NOT want to do her job and complained about the most simplest tasks. Also she had her kid dancing in the back.
Not professional and very disgusting.
I will not be back. ✌

I dont why they hired such a lazy incompetent woman.

This place used to be really good when the owner started North Minneapolis off of Broadway. Now he has a new location in Brooklyn Center the food has fallen way off. I ate here and the Bun was hard for the Hot dog. The fries weren’t cooked properly. I won’t be going back here again.

First off the owner always has an attitude everytime I call in he’s rushing off the phone. I came in last night to pick up my food & I ask him why are you always aggressive & why do you always have an attitude? He then charged my card $119 for an order that was only $19 they will never get another penny from me.

I love their catfish and shrimp dinner. DON’T sleep in their breakfast! It is so good and worth the price. The Cajun breakfast is the BEST!
