Service: The gentleman at the counter was so very nice and accommodating, wow! He gave us some awesome recommendations and chatted with us about the menu, then brought is everything we needed to accompany our meal. Really nice guy! He even invited us back for coffee the next morning. 10/10
Food: 100/10 – let’s start there. We ordered Chopped Cheese, SEC on a plain bagel, fries, tots and pancakes. The food is made to order – so fresh and piping hot. We also got bottled 3 drinks and our total was about $53. I’m not sure if that’s considered pricey or not, but it was worth it to us.
Location/Atmosphere: 10/10 it’s in an easy to find location, clean and they have space to host your meal inside the deli. I love that so much. Everything was adding to the real New York experience. Loved it!

I called in for some late night food as they were closing. I asked for the servers recommendation and they made me up an amazing feed. A proper NYC sandwich and it was bang on. They made me up their Special fillet chicken, lettuce, tomato, mozzarella and habanero mayo. Hit the spot!

The food here is so much better than you would think; really good. The cashiers are usually very friendly. The chefs in the back who take your order are usually a bit rude or short with you, but honestly who cares if the food is good. I get food here all the time.

I went to Best of NY Deli and bought a Dubai chocolate bar. Before buying, I asked the woman at the front, (Gladys IS HER NAME), if it was good — she lied and said “it’s the best”
I walked back to my office (10 minutes away) to open it, and it was completely mushed and soaking wet inside. Clearly not fresh.
I went back immediately, and Gladys — rude, mean, and completely unhelpful — refused to give a refund or exchange, like she didn’t care I had literally just bought it. It honestly felt like she’s trying to scam people and get rid of bad product on purpose.
Avoid this place. Gladys is awful, and this is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I will never go back.

We visited this store 20/8 for breakfast with my wife.
It was our first time eating in New York.
They had an automatic sales machine when I reached it and tried to operate it, they told me not to. ( the prices we saw for each bagel was from 4,5$ to 7$)
So we order by person 2 bagels and when we reached the cashier total was 28$, we payed by card and when we asked why this price the cashier told us that the rest was taxes.
After 10 days living in New York we understand that they stole us.
Avoid places like this and always ask for prices before you order.
