We came on a Friday night without reservations. We didn’t have to wait long for a table but it was a while before a waiter came to take our order. Once we spoke up, they were super attentive and took care of us and friendly accommodating. The wontons in peanut sauce was the best thing I ate that night. The sauce needs to be bottled and sold. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. Everything we ordered that night was phenomenal.

This is an edit from the previous review.
After this review, I went back again several times with my family, but on the last visit, we had to split the bill in two because I had a gift card that I wanted to use. When the bill came, I signed both of them, and without paying too much attention, I tip only for the amount of one of the bill. We left the place and crossed the street to get into the car. Well, the owner chased us like if we were thieves asking us why we didn’t tip the right amount of money. I just say (because I wasn’t in the mood of escalating this show) that I didn’t pay attention, and I gave him the other part of the tip… I mean, he already knew me and my family. The waiters already knew us. So why losing an entire family as a customer for a few bucks?!!!
So sad because my daughter and I loved to eat here.

I got their menu flyer at my door step (live in a neighboring town). I decided to give it a try. Should have listened to the bad review re: poor attitude, average quality and anxiety around “service tipping”. Big turn off! Which explains why they’re sending out flyers because the establishment can’t attract patrons on its own merits.
Even in NYC tipping 20% is absolutely acceptable, so i dont understand why an average restaurant in the suburbs would expect a 25% service tip? If they have the bolz to ask for it then I have the bolz to deny it.

Food. Miso soup was like water. It felt like it had been diluted. Pad Thai wasn’t great, it needed more sauce. The rolls were tasty, but they didn’t bring ginger and wasabi right away, they asked if we wanted them. First time we’ve encountered that.
Service: the waitress was very unfriendly. It was obvious that she didn’t like her job and she didn’t hide it.
The girls at the entrance were pleasant and friendly.
Atmosphere: sleeping employees on the couches. Is this normal? All the couches were occupied… I didn’t like that very much. Employees should have a break room.
This wasn’t our first time here, but it will be our last. The food has gotten worse and the service isn’t very good.

Solid local Asian restaurant. They have both sushi and Chinese/Tai menus. Both of them are pretty good.
If you are not sure what to get , just get the sushi love boat for two

I had a hankering for Asian food. I found out that Tani was open. They are excellent. Fast delivery, tasty food. I ordered Coconut Curry Chicken. It was delicious, fresh, and satisfied my curry cravings to a T. Their vegetables are very fresh, crisp…perfect. I have since ordered from them again, Peanut chicken, Bao, avocado salad…all amazing. I can’t wait until the Pandemic is over and I can try their Sushi and actually go to their restaurant and check out the atmosphere. Keep it up Tani! You’re the best.

Order all the time and its usually v fresh and good quality – But placed a pick up order a week ago and was disappointed they raised prices by approx $1 per item/entree, which I get in these times and I wouldnt mind so much if the food quality & quantity was consistent – but for example my riceless roll had much less sushi in it, so much so that each piece fell apart and collapsed due to it being mostly seaweed/lettuce – and the fried rice seemed to have lost all flavor – May try again to see if it was a one day fluke but its not a cheap gamble
