The pizza was big yeah… but greeeeeasy. I couldn’t even eat mine. The mozzy sticks and tater wedges were really good tho. Yolanda helped us order and she was so great.

Decided to try another pizza place. Chose Cataldo’s on Stockdale Hwy. and Allen Rd.
Ordered my favorite Margherita pizza. Was not disappointed! The pizza came out of the kitchen pippin hot and boy did it smell delicious. The crust was thin and crispy, cherry tomatoes cooked perfectly with the right amount of cheese and basil.
I highly recommend this pizza.

Oh man! We usually get a pizza or two from this place. But today I tried the Spaghetti and Meatballs. I thought they gave me a lasagna dish. If you look at my pictures you see that there was a layer of cheese and goodness! Pretty good spaghetti! Very filling!

While I’m always eager to support local businesses, I can’t recommend Catalto’s Pizza at all—mainly because of the owners’ behavior. It’s one thing if the food is average or even great, but when the people behind the counter consistently show arrogance, disrespect, and hostility, it ruins the experience entirely.
What’s worse is that their rudeness isn’t limited to customers. They have a long track record of being dismissive and downright nasty toward the other businesses around them. Instead of being part of a supportive local community, they seem to carry ill will toward their neighbors and make little effort to get along.
Good business owners know that customer service and community relations are just as important as the product they sell. Catalto’s clearly hasn’t learned that lesson. In Bakersfield, there are plenty of pizza spots where both the food and the people are warm, respectful, and welcoming. This isn’t one of them. Save yourself the frustration and take your business somewhere it will actually be appreciated.

My husband and I tried this spot for lunch yesterday. Very friendly service and food was fresh. We both got a giant slice, and I added a side salad to mine. We both wish the pizza had more sauce on it. Very, very lightly sauced. In our opinion, that is what’s keeping this place from being a 10 out of 10 for us.

First time I ordered from Cataldo’s. I had it delivered, it was very good. Plus you had salami which I order to replace pepperoni to lower my salt intake. The crust was just perfect as well as the sauce. Really zesty and flavorful! Fresh toppings I’m really into salami, bell pepper and black olives right now. It was fairly pricey I paid $45 including tip for a large pizza. Pizza prices everywhere have all unfortunately gone way up. Too bad pizza is no longer considered the less expensive choice for a meal. But due to inflation, nothing is less expensive. Overall though this is the best pizza I’ve had in a long time
