OKA Ramen is a great new Japanese ramen spot in Woods Cross! I went for lunch with my friends and ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, Takoyaki, and Sui Gyoza. Everything was super delicious—full of flavor and great quality.
The broth was rich without being too salty, and the noodles had the perfect chew. I really loved the balance of toppings, especially the shrimp tempura and the tender pork with a touch of spicy chili oil. We finished up with yummy ice cream
The service was quick, and the atmosphere was fun with Japanese-style art, clean, and cozy. Prices are reasonable too. We will come back and Highly recommend! ✨

This cute spot opened up almost 4 weeks ago. I went on a Sunday night. The restaurant was empty when I got there but quickly filled up as I ate my ramen. Its a clean, warm, well decorated little space. It has about 10-15 tables. The staff are very friendly and checked in on me frequently. The food was good here. I got the tonkotsu ramen. The broth was warm and silky. I love that you can add a tempura shrimp to any ramen bowl. I also had their pot stickers. You cant go wrong ordering those. Its nice to have this new restaurant in the woods cross area.

Got the tonkatsu ramen and dumplings. I can’t say there’s anything special about this ramen, my pork in my soup was 99% fat and inedible. The dumplings were not bad even though they where a little on the soggy side. But the atmosphere is cozy and the service was good.

I got the gyoza and the tonkatsu ramen. The gyoza came with a good sauce, but they were your stereotypical frozen gyoza. The ramen was good at first, but as you keep eating the ramen gets saltier and saltier (I drank 6 glasses of water). It’s worth trying if you’re in the area, but I don’t know if I would make a trip out just to try it.

Absolutely amazing experience!

I stopped by this new ramen spot for their grand opening, and I was blown away. The customer service was incredible—everyone was so friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience feel special from the moment I walked in. They even gave out free ice cream for the grand opening, which was such a nice surprise!

The food was just as impressive. The soft shell crab was perfectly cooked—crispy, flavorful, and easily one of the best I’ve had. The ramen was rich, savory, and full of depth, with broth and noodles that tasted like they were made with real care.

You can tell they put their heart into both the food and the service here. Definitely a new favorite spot—I’ll be coming back for sure!

Wonderful restaurant with a beautiful wooden interior. The tonkotsu was perfect – the noodles and broth were delicious. The pork short rib was especially good. One of the best ramen bowls I’ve ever had.

Amazing new spot!
OKA Ramen blew me away. The broth was rich and flavorful, noodles perfectly cooked, and the shrimp was fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful—warm wood, Japanese décor, and a clean, cozy atmosphere. Service was friendly and quick, and you can tell they put care into every dish. Definitely my new favorite ramen place. Highly recommend!

I ordered takeout from here and it was very disappointing. The egg is slightly mutilated (this seems to be common when I look at other photos), both of my orders had eggs like this – almost as if when peeling the egg they accidentally removed a portion of the outside. One of my orders had a well done egg, and the other had a decently poached egg, but neither seemed to be close to a proper soy eggs.

The tonkotsu broth was very bland, tasted like the stuff you can get at Chinatown in a one gallon jug. Lacked any flavor other than pork fat flavor. The spicy broth did have a kick, but seemed to have some sort of Thai flavoring. In general both broths were pretty disappointing.

The soft shell crab app was not bad though.

I did order takeout and set my expectations accordingly, but this place is a 2-3 star ramen restaurant at best given the quality.
