Delicious authentic Jamaican food, was a little sad that they were out of oxtail. Completely understandable since that’s like the number one go to for most people. So I had to go with second best curry goat still very delicious and just love the atmosphere. Highly recommend you drop by if you love or have thought about trying authentic Jamaican food.

You need to try this place. In Jamaica I had Jerk Chicken a few times and it was descent enough but nothing compared to our flight back on Air Jamaica. That was the best Jerk Chicken I’ve ever had. There are some good Jamaican restaurants around central Florida but after my third visit now, this the best island food I’ve found. The Jerk Chicken is amazing, falling off the bone and juicy as all get out. If you like BBQ you would absolutely love it. Rice, and the cabbage, perfectly cooked. The price for lunch was very fair and unlike fast food and franchises this is home cooking at its best.

Hands down, Ocho Rios is the BEST restaurant, and I mean BEST, I’ve been to in Clermont. I had the Curried Goat with peas and rice. My son in law had the Oxetail with peas and rice. Neither of us has had goat or oxetail before and we both loved them. My son in law said it was the best entree he has ever had in a restaurant. I have had the special fish dish before and it is also delicious. I highly recommend Ocho Rios for the quality of the food, pleasing surroundings and the service. 10 STARS!!!

Nice and quiet inside, the gentleman at the counter was very friendly and polite and helpful! He even made further suggestions for different dishes to try, based on what I ordered and like (spicy!) the next time I come in. While I will say it was a bit more expensive than I thought it would be- it was well worth it. The portions were generous and the quality of the food was very good. Try the goat curry!! Note: their fruit juices are also very tasty drinks- try the guava passion fruit! My thanks to the chef =)

First time at Ocho Rios and they definitely have a returning customer from me. Very quick and friendly service with reasonable prices. I ordered oxtail peas and rice cabbage and coco bread to go. I had every intention of eating it at home but I was so hungry I decided to take a bite before I drove off. Needless to say my plate didnt make it home. I stayed in the parking lot and finished my meal in my car. It was so good I couldn’t put it down! I cant wait to go back and see what their other dishes are like. Totally worth a visit!

Some of the best oxtail and beef patties I’ve ever had! 10/10. Clean, plenty of parking, the owners were super friendly, made us feel at home, and the food was too good to leave any leftovers. I will definitely be returning.

I came here earlier & got a small $13 plate of jerk chicken with rice & peas. It was sooo delicious. They offered to put some oxtail gravy on top & of course I said yes. So while I was eating this, I got a good taste of oxtail chunks & that tasted delicious too. The jerk chicken had a nice little spice to it too. I will be back!
