Reviews
Appetizers we got the fried mozzarella and calamari (the kids loved the fried mozzarella. The calamari was overcooked extremely chewy and the portion was way smaller than it used to be)
Plate 1:
We got a kids meal butter noodles, chicken and grapes. (The noodles didn’t have any seasoning not even salt son wouldn’t eat it. Some parts of the chicken were weird looking my son said I’m not eating this part and I don’t blame him)
Plate 2
Husband ordered chicken and shrimp carbonara with zuppa Toscana soup.
( The portion was so small for $23. It was very greasy and the chicken had a lot of hard chewy parts. The soup he said reminded him of when our kid threw up one time. It was a very off like rotting milk smell.)
Plate 3
I ordered some cheese ravioli ($19) and a gnocchi soup. ( I was too far to eat the ravioli there so I just packed it myself and brought it home for lunch tomorrow. I couldn’t even finish it. It was so greasy like the oils is running all over the plate and it did not taste good. The bacon bits were very chewy and gross. The gnocchi soup was very watery. I did not like it. Most times we go there. It’s creamy and delicious this time I was extremely disappointed)
Plate 4
My other child ordered soup and salad ($12)
The salad looked old and he said he couldn’t eat it. ( I ask the waiter if she could substitute the grapes instead of the salad because it was bad and she did but she charged $0.99 for it) I tasted the salad and it tasted off maybe old. I’m not really sure, but definitely weird. He also eats the gnocchi soup and he didn’t really like it either. He said it tastes different than normal and I agree it was very watery.) note he never gets refills on his soup or salad by choice.
Service
The server brought our soups and salad and our appetizers but we didn’t have any utensils. I asked for napkins multiple times.
Like the 3rd time she said anything else. I said yeah the napkins remember. My husband’s drink was completely empty half of his meal. She only refilled our drinks once never my husbands when she refilled ours tea I told her he has Dr. Pepper his glass was half empty at this point. I did see her at another table when she did come back to us and asked if we needed anything or if we were going to pay on the kiosk. I told her we needed boxes and her to refill it my husbands drink and he said no just don’t. I’m done… Because he was upset and ready to leave.
I used to be a server at the Olive garden in Gaffney when I was in college. so I know the rules and she did not pack any of our food. She didn’t bring the mints on the table. The service was mediocre at best. I still left her $10 which was 10%
I didn’t take photos at the restaurant and no management ever talked to us.
I took a picture of my lunch. I was trying to eat before I trashed it.
The bar area was a disaster, with dirty dishes and glasses piling up for over two hours. New guests were seated at dirty spots that were never cleaned. My pasta was dry, and when I asked for more Alfredo sauce, I was ignored for 10 minutes, leaving my food cold and inedible.
To make matters worse, the lemon in my drink was not cut properly, showing a clear lack of attention to detail. It’s obvious that proper training is not being given to the staff, as the entire experience—from food quality to cleanliness and service—was completely unacceptable.
On top of that, the hosts at the front desk were unprofessional and inattentive. Instead of greeting guests, they were playing on their phones, taking Snapchats, and had their backs turned as people arrived. The two young girls doing this were not even dressed in proper uniform, making it clear that there is little to no enforcement of standards at this location.
The overall cleanliness, service, and management were beyond disappointing. This location needs serious improvements, as this was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.
Server with red hair (couldn’t remember her name) was very enthusiastic, warm and energetic. She made sure our drink and soup were promptly re-filled. The waiting time for our pasta took a while though.
We had shrimp scampi, and chicken and shrimp alfredo. I last had these when I was in Las Vegas and they were amazing. I was slightly disappointed in the taste as they were over seasoned and the pasta was too mushy even my toddler wouldn’t eat it. The zuppa toscano soup that came with it was extremely salty that a refill was almost impossible.
The appetizer that I ordered wasn’t served and I had to cancel it off the bill as I was done with my meal. No photos were taken as I was busy carrying my sleeping toddler.
Atmosphere was great. There were people celebrating birthdays and it was bright and cheery.
I’ve had a fair amount of pastas and this is not how pasta should be. Would come back for the service but not the food.
Our waitress was very good
Cleanliness was subpar
Bathroom was absolutely filthy,
Restaurant did not smell clean,
Used piled dishes and trays left on tables with bus staff walking right past while on their cell phones. Very disappointing for a place we always looked forward to visiting.
