I’m not exaggerating when I say their service is the best I’ve had in Seattle.

Asked for more dipping sauce, they give us a large tray of that sauce. Gave us 2 free, warm garlic naans wrapped in foil when we left. Like, who even does this? Forgot my backpack inside and they came running out calling for me like I was in a Bollywood drama. Free samosas to graze on whilst we wait for our food.

Cozy atmosphere, low-key good date spot. Got the Jalfrazie, garlic naan, and tandoori lamb. Jalfrazie a bit salty. Lamb a bit dry.

I don’t care if the food wasn’t top tier. Their service won my heart. I felt so joyful the entire time sitting there.

Service was pretty good and the food was solid overall. The outdoor seating with all the lights is what really makes this place special; it’s such a nice vibe. The shahi korma paneer was delicious, and the garlic naan was great too. The butter chicken was a bit basic, but my vegetarian friend really enjoyed her chana masala. The mango lassi was also very good.

Parking can be tricky since there’s a small lot, but street parking is usually easier. Prices are fairly reasonable for the quality. Overall, I’d definitely come back again.

Originally from Chicago, we have a lot of good options compared to Seattle. This was the first Desi restaurant I tried, and my first impression is that it’s way too expensive. Secondly, the portion size is about half of what it should be. On the other side, the food tastes like home — not the best, but decent enough.

Not everything is Halal.

My favorite local Indian restaurant – you get mini free samosas if you dine in person. Portions are huge and everything on the menu is delicious. If you sign up for their emails, sometimes you get small coupons for ordering online to go. They also have great outdoor seating for summertime.

This has been our go-to Indian restaurant. The food is always good, super flavorful and such a huge selection of items. Love how flexible it can be too with picking the proteins for the dishes. Service is always fast and friendly and I always appreciate how they bring out a little appetizer and a little dessert complimentary. Our regular dishes: saag, garlic naan, shimla paneer, mango curry, and start off with the vegetarian delight appetizer sampler. Their iced chai is so delicious and you get free refills. While the prices may seem a little high, the flavor is great and rice is included with your entrees.

I came as a plumber for an issue, and although my cost was too high (expensive company) they insisted on making me dinner for free. Owner was very generous, the waitstaff was attentive, accommodating, and helpful. Truly fine dining experience, I asked for nothing. And the food!! Best Indian food ive ever had. I got 5 star spicy vindaloo curry with lamb, and spinach naan, and it was the best lamb, the best curry, and the best naan id ever had. Try it for yourself. I didnt pay, so I cant speak to the cost.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Truly one of Seattle’s finest gems

Taste of India offers much more than delicious food — it delivers a genuine experience of Indian warmth and hospitality.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They surprised us with complimentary mini samosas, served with so much care, and even after we had settled the bill, they kindly asked us to stay a little longer to enjoy a free dessert. In today’s world of rising costs, this level of generosity is both rare and deeply appreciated.

The samosas were golden, crisp, and perfectly spiced — each bite felt like a small journey back to India. The chai tasted exactly like homemade tea, and the team continued offering tea refills to every table with genuine warmth and attentiveness.

The aloo paranthas were outstanding — flavorful, well-seasoned, and truly authentic, just like you’d find in India. The chefs are attentive to personal preferences and prepare every dish with care, while the servers create magic through their thoughtful service.

What made the experience even more special was seeing people from all backgrounds gathered, enjoying Indian food and tea together. This restaurant represents Indian culture and hospitality in the most beautiful way.

Taste of India truly shines as one of Seattle’s proud culinary treasures.
A must-visit for anyone seeking not only wonderful food, but a memorable and heartfelt dining experience.

10/10 My favorite restaurant in Seattle!
The customer service is unmatched, and the food is stellar. The coconut curry is my personal favorite, but you cannot go wrong with any order here. I also recommend the unlimited hot chai. The outdoor seating has great ambiance, and the staff are truly amazing.

We had butter chicken and a chicken curry dish and naan and an Indian beer Katie Patang. The service was incredible. The naan is fresh and delicious. The rice was so fluffy and made perfectly. Free appetiser and cheesecake.

Fantastic experience overall! Had to check this spot out after walking by several times. They have small parking lot which we managed to get a spot in. Free appetizer right when we sat down and free cheesecake after the meal was delicious. Service was really the highlight of the meal. The staff is extremely attentive and always ready to swoop in if you need anything. I was boxing my leftovers (practically another full meal) and hesitated trying to figure out where to put my plate when a staff member stepped up and took it from me instead. Bravo!
