The food was phenomenal!!! I ordered the vodka chicken parm and it did not disappoint! The drinks were just as amazing, and the bartenders were so friendly and welcoming, they truly made you feel at home. The live music was great too.

On my first visit, I ordered a po- boy oyster sandwich with home made potato chips. The potato chips were overly salty and too light. I much prefer a kettle style chip, dark brown in color, with a good crunch. My po- boy sandwich was very good. French onion was decent, but they used mozzarella cheese instead of guyere, a must for French onion.
My first time trying chicken and waffles. Nothing wrong with it. But nothing stood out either.
Bob, my dining companion, declared the cheese steak and clam chowder as excellent.
On thanksgiving eve, Helen, Leon and I all ordered turkey platters. A fresh salad with great blue cheese dressing. Turkey was moist, tender and delish, with a large portion. Stuffing was very good, as was mashed potatoes and gravy. Served with cranberry sauce.
Desserts of apple pie, and pound cake with strawberries, were ordinary, and would not be ordered again.
Service was excellent. Ambiance was nice, though it can be noisy as the evening progresses.
This is on my recommended list. Try their soups, sandwiches and early bird dinners. Dress is casual but respectful.

Stopped in on a Wednesday at around 5. Place was not that busy and was able to get a seat at the bar with no wait. They have a good selection of draft beer and full bar. I had the Buffalo Chicken Dip Egg Rolls and they wear very good and big . All employees were very nice and helpful. They have a wide variety of food on menu and I hope to be able to return to try some more!!

The Tavern hosted our company party, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better service. From start to finish, everything was seamless and well run.
The food was outstanding. The pizza, chicken and waffles, clams casino, and the buffalo chicken salad were all incredible, and that salad might even beat Dogtooth . Every dish came out fresh and flavorful, and our entire group was impressed.
The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly without ever feeling intrusive. It made the whole night feel easy and enjoyable.

As this is the first season open we waited until crowds had settled down…as it turned out we ended up being the first ones for lunch.

French dip and Italian chicken sandwiches were ordered. Both meaty and very good.
Carafe of water for the table. A refined menu but something for everyone’s palate.

I had dinner here with my family last night, and overall, we had a great experience! The place was nicely decorated, and everything was exceptionally clean. The drinks came out quickly and were really good. The food was delicious, however it did take a little while to arrive. It seemed busy when we went though, so it was understandable. Our server, Juliauna, was so friendly and attentive, she stopped by multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a spot I’d go back to!

Well we went with two friends down visiting from delco. We were able to walk in and get seated relatively quickly. Good the place is loud but it’s a tavern what do you expect. Live musician in the back. We all ordered and unfortunately didn’t order apps so waiting for our crab cake sand our burger and French dip wife had turkey pot pie. It seemed to take a really long time but def was busy a couple large tables of like eight people. Everybody enjoyed their food although by the time it arrived the fries had started to turn cool. Ordered horseradish with the French dip had to ask another server for it. Also if you are serving fries having ketchup would seem a necessity but the ketchup didn’t arrive till dinner was almost over along with that horseradish. Hey sometimes shit happens. We will still be back and bring our visitors because it was a decent place with good food.local tavern is worth a try
