A true five stars! What a pleasant surprise. My boyfriend has never had a Cubano sandwich and this was the closest Cuban place we could find in the area. Soooooooo yummy. Prices were phenomenal. Two drinks and two huge Cuban sandwiches for under $40. Service was so lovely. Def would go out of my way to drive here again.

This is a small family owned Cuban Cafe. This is my second time there and was as good as the first time. We ordered the Steak Milanaise special at $18.95 per pate, and it was worth every penny. In fact from what I can see there isn’t a single item on the menu of $20!
The quality of the food is fantastic and the choice of dishes available is really comprehensive.
Looking forward to returning and ordering the seabass from their platillo menu.

I went to this place twice to grab a bite in the afternoon and the guava chicken sandwich/plate is so good. The place has six tables inside and a few small tables outside to hang out. The portion is a little small but good for quick bites.

Cafecito in Calabasas, CA is definitely one of the good ones if you’re looking for authentic Cuban food. The food was great from start to finish. I ordered the lechón plate and wow — the pork was so tender and juicy, and the onions were cooked to perfection. The rice & beans were packed with flavor, and the plantains were YUMMMM — seriously amazing. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned.
The place itself is pretty tiny for dine-in, but it wasn’t crowded at all when I went. Super chill vibes and a nice spot to grab a quick meal.
Only downside: I went to use the restroom and noticed they could improve their hygiene/cleanliness, especially around the kitchen/food prep area. It looked a bit messy, and the restroom could’ve been cleaner too.
Overall though, the food was seriously delicious and I’d still recommend it if you’re craving Cuban food.

The girl that was working was very sweet. The place is super cute, nice decor, good vibes. The food…. I was so disappointed. I LOVE Cuban food. We ordered 2 ropa vieja plates, a chivito sandwich and a cubano. None of us were happy with our orders. Not even the platanos maduros were good. Like I said, we were very disappointed. But the banana bread they gave my son, for his birthday, was really good. A lot of people were walking in for take-out. ♀️ Sad to say, it’ll be one and done for us.

if I could give this place 20 stars, I would. I work with hundreds of people every week and I can easily tell you the people running this place are some of the kindness that I’ve ever met. And the food is even better. This place has ruined other sandwiches for me because now I’m only going to come here for my sandwiches. The other plates and food are amazing as well but wow. I love this place.

The food here is fantastic! One of the best Media Noches I’ve ever had. The pollo chimichurri was so juicy and flavorful. Am looking forward to coming back and trying someof the other plates. If you’re in the area and hungry for some solid food come here. Oh and they have Coco Rico! What a treat!
