Wow, as they say, don’t judge the book by its cover. Go in and find out, I have a Cajun salmon that was highly recommended by the server. She was being realistic per my choices of entree. I gave it a shot, indeed, the sauce is delicious and savory, it’ll melt in your mouth. Friendly staff, service is great. Will come back again.

A tad high price for the amount of food. Good lobster roll. Veggies and salads good but the grilled octopus was overly spiced/salted. Good price for savignon blanc on tap.

✨ Dive into freshness at Pescadero in Wilmette, IL!
Seafood flown in daily + a must-try Weekend Brunch Menu (11a–3p) = perfection.

Everything was fresh, seasoned beautifully, and absolutely delicious. Pro tips:
Sip their Frozen Old Fashion (sample it once and you’ll want a full glass).
Don’t skip dessert—JR Bakery’s custom treats pair perfectly with espresso.

My top picks:
1️⃣ Wood-Grilled Seafood Skewer
2️⃣ Seafood Ceviche
3️⃣ Lobster Roll

✨ Honorable mention: Their curated wine & beer list featuring Double Clutch Brewery, elevated by Angelina H.’s expert pairing suggestions + attentive service.

The night started off very strong. Our server Justin was a joy and had personality, a sense of humor, and a great vibe. He was attentive, made great suggestions for drinks, and kept everyone at the table in a great mood.

The food… the food was hit and miss. Our appetizers were amazing. The calamari was a major hit with the entire table. And it gave us high hopes for the rest of the meal. Which was honestly a letdown. We ordered a variety of food, and the general consensus was, “It’s alright.” I ordered the seafood tower and got a giant bowl of ice. There wasn’t enough food on the plate to feed one person, and for the price, I think that is unacceptable.

So if you go be prepared because again the entire staff is pleasant and kind. However, some of the food can miss the mark.

I’d say this place is my fav spot in Wilmette! Everything for me was great, foods, drinks, and service. If you visit Wilmette and want to enjoy sitting and chill at the patio I recommended you to visit this bar!

We had a light dinner and drinks on the patio, enjoying a lovely spring evening. I had the watermelon salad and my friend went for the chopped salad. Our cocktails were nice – I had the Captain Vandalay and I thought it was refreshing but lacked the zing I was hoping from the grapefruit. The cocktail with the orchid is Lady Lydia. The service is always friendly. I had their oysters before and they were very fresh. Be ready that there’s always a bit of a push for the oysters (since it’s an oyster bar!).

I recently dined here with friends, and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

Our server, Justin, was attentive and made sure we had a great time throughout the evening.

I started with the Calabrian Octopus and Lobster Bisque. Both were delicious, though the bisque was missing the chunks of lobster I typically expect. The octopus was perfectly cooked, rare for many places, which tend to overcook it, and the sauce it came with added a nice touch of flavor.

For my entrée, I chose the Diver Scallops, which were cooked to perfection. While they were a good size for the price, I do think one extra scallop would have made the dish feel like a better value. The portion was satisfying, but a little more would have been ideal.

A note on the bread: it’s an extra charge, which is becoming common at upscale restaurants. It was garlic bread, though, not just plain, and it was really well done, neither too chewy nor too crunchy, just the right balance.

The drink menu is diverse, with a solid selection of wines, cocktails, spirits, and beers. I opted for a few glasses of Sauv Blanc to pair with my seafood, and it was a great choice.

To cap off the meal, I ordered a double espresso. Honestly, I would come back just for that, probably the best way to finish the evening.

I wanted to love this place but it really doesn’t live up to the hype. The outdoor patio is great and there’s a musician who plays across the street on Friday evenings (really adds to the setting). The food is just okay. The best dish by far was the lobster Mac and cheese (not pictured). The server was curt with us, which seemed odd for such a nice place. I’d be willing to give it another try but not rushing back.

The atmosphere was great and the hostesses were all very kind. Our server was extremely awkward, though. We ordered a half dozen of oysters and one of them had barely anything in it and for $3 per oyster that was disappointing. The king pao salmon was outstanding and a great portion size. The fish tacos were also perfect and fresh tasting.
