Pho Portsmouth is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. We also have loads of starters that are perfect for sharing with friends and family. Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular diets. We are accredited by Coeliac UK. An absolutely fantastic Asian restaurant!
The food was outstanding – full of flavour, beautifully presented and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was delicious and perfectly balanced.
The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and professional, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The service was smooth and well-timed, without ever feeling rushed.
The ambience is superb – stylish, relaxing and thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect atmosphere for both a casual meal and a special occasion.
The location is also excellent and easy to reach, which makes the whole experience even better.
Overall, a truly wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be returning!

We came here with our assistance dog in training. It was a busy Saturday Lunch time (10/01/2026) but they still found us a good table for 2 with space for our dog to lie down. Even turned the speaker down a knotch that was right overhead and sounding a bit distorted. Good tunes by the way.
Food was fantastic. Fresh, tasty and reasonable prices. No idea why people are still queuing for Wagammamas a few doors down. Food at Pho is so much better.
Service from Java was wonderful…even bringing the dog a bowl of water on his own initiative. Very thoughtful. We would happily come back with friends. Well done Java and team at Pho. 5 stars

Great atmosphere and amazing food for our first time trying the cuisine. Portion sizes are extremely filling and worth the money, amazing customer service, Alex and Ollie were super friendly and talked us through menu options and personal favourites, had a great friendly chat afterwards too! I had my birthday dinner here and it was lovely. Raf was our server and he was attentive and super kind. They even offered me dessert free of charge. I don’t usually come here often but everytime I do come it’s always a pleasant experience + yummy food.

Really hard to fault anything at this restaurant. Super friendly servers and all of the dishes had an authentic taste. The house Pho, in particular, was as good as any that I’ve had in Hanoi. The summer spring rolls were delightful too, as was the mango salad. The Morning Glory also had a really decent spicy kick to it, as well as having a decent crunch to it. I’ll definitely be coming back here for more authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

While visiting GunWarlf Quays needed a spot of lunch. Looked and sounded interesting so popped in.
Didn’t wait was seated straight away, friendly staff greeted professionally.
Staff attentive and answered questions about the menu.
The only downside was seeing a member of staff drinking an energy drink in the open kitchen.
Clean and fresh.
Food looked and tasted fresh.
Good size portions.

Food was really tasty and delicious and the spicy lemonade was amazing. However we arrived and ordered after 5 mins, we waited for 35 min before having to chase where our food was. Also 3 tables sat down after us and got served their food before us. The waitress was really kind and checked everything was ok after we received our food 🙂
