Reviews
As you walk into the puerta del Sol a sense of pride comes over you, as the atmosphere resembles New Mexico Michelin star Mesoamerican restaurants
The music the lights the atmosphere the decorations the very aesthetic pleases the eye
You dig deeper you have a seat good service good staff nice willing to listen and you think to yourself this is going to be a very good experience
The food you look at it and it is spectacular it is mind-boggling how they can create such dishes to make them look like something you would see in the Sistine Chapel
Mind-boggling as in why in the world does this taste so bad
I’m a reviewer who does not review a restaurant after eating there once I give them the benefit of Doubt and eat at least five or six times and every single time I have ever eaten there it is the same thing Bland Bland Bland experiencing a stake in at Puerto del Sol in Nashville Georgia is like experiencing a very good tour of the local junk yard tire art show but instead, having to eat the insufferable thing
If you ask for rare you get overcooked if you ask for medium you get overcooked if you ask for well done you get overcooked
Because of the pleasing aesthetic and atmosphere of this restaurant I went there for more than 15 times and every single time I ordered a steak and every single time it was a vigorously and violently overcooked it was the toughest piece of meat I have ever eaten in my life and this is over a period of several years since his first opening
I’m very patient but nobody is this patient if I could give it zero Stars I would
The waitress was nice and was attentive. I’ll give them stars just for that.
My husbands food came out later than everyone else’s, & by this time I’m almost done with my taco & I realize there’s a hair on my enchilada.
I immediately lost my appetite & stopped eating. My let my husband know (he had yet to even start eating) & we sat the plate to the side of the table. He also saw it & lost his appetite, didn’t touch his food at ALL.
We waited for our server to come back & check back on us- never did. Even with kids. No offer of extra napkins (we have a 4yr, 6yr,& 10 yr old), no one asked if everything tasted okay or if we needed anything….
Eventually after we realized she wasn’t coming back to our table, I took the kids out to the car to wait while my husband went up to the front where the server was working the cash register.
He let the server know what happened with my food & that he had also lost his appetite & didn’t even take a single bite of meal. She basically said it could’ve been from one of my kids… Sorry but my kids hair doesn’t look like pubic hair !! She said she couldn’t take my husbands meal off because there wasn’t a hair in it….. honestly we left grossed out & still hungry.
Still tipped 20% & probably shouldn’t have… Everyone has their off days but this situation could’ve been way better, zero customer service.
