We were one of 4 tables at 7pm, the two servers we had were great, only thing keeping this from getting 5 stars was the bread pudding. We were also advised against the peach cobbler, so desert is a hard pass. Entree not pictured was the pork belly served with greens and black eyed peas. Got mine without black eyed peas, and it was still scrumptious with some pepper on it. Be aware that the menu presented seems to change and doesn’t match the one online.

Went for the Xmas dinner special they were having. The prime rib dish was amazing. The turkey dinner was cold, but still good. The service was extremely fast which we appreciated as we were starving after a day of travel!

We went here before attending a show at the Saenger theater because it was conveniently located for our walk and not crowded. The atmosphere is nice. We were comfortable and enjoyed great service. The food was disappointing and over priced for what we got. The corn and crab chowder was so salty we couldn’t even eat it. The crab-cakes are overpriced at $26 -only came with two and they were mushy. We did enjoy the crawfish bread and the Brussel sprouts. They were good. Overall, we would not return and wish we had chosen another option in the area. We spent over $100 and only got three appetizers, 2 cups of soup, and water.

This place is connected to the NOPSI Hotel. Met my parents here for brunch one day. They’d already befriended the Executive (Corporate) Chef by the time I arrived. After tasting the food, I don’t blame them for wanting to adopt him into the family. The food was AMAZING, Chef Adam was truly gracious and personable. You can tell he really loves what he does. The food was so good that we went back the following day. The service was so so, some were really good, some seemed confused about whether or not they should serve us as we sat in the restaurant. This place seems to be re-vamping/reopening and so I’d expect the confusion between the bar and the restaurant staff and service to smooth out as they get back up and running. I am already looking forward to stopping by this place for a great meal the next time I’m in New Orleans.

We had a great dinner here, delicious drinks and food! We had the daiquiri (a real one, not the frozen sugary ones) and a martini, which were both balanced and delicious. The meatball
sandwich was excellent and the cobb salad with grilled shrimp was very good. The service was also great, thanks to Christain.

I can’t believe I’m writing this right now. My friends and my husband and I came this morning for Jazz Brunch and we ordered the pastry board for the table. Our waitress went to the kitchen to make sure they had it available and then came back to confirm. Shortly thereafter, a huge board of muffins, scones and pastries were delivered to our table. I had a blueberry muffin and then I cut off a piece of a chocolate pastry and bit into it. I immediately spit it out because I could taste the mold. I looked at the piece I had left on the board to see visible mold on the outside. We then checked the rest of the board and several items had mold on them. We had the manager come over and she didn’t really do anything, just said sorry and we left. The worst part about this is that I’m pregnant and am worried that this will make me or my baby sick. Please think twice before coming here to eat and if you do, inspect your food thoroughly before eating.

Stayed at NOPSI and had breakfast here our first morning of our honeymoon. I had the very delicious Eggs Sardou. The chef heard that myself and my husband were in NOLA for the first time for our honeymoon and made us free beignets! They were honestly the best beignets we had our entire trip. Thank you to chef Webb for your kindness and great food.

Ate here for breakfast and dinner. I had the dinner first and was disappointed in the gumbo. It came out WAY too quick and the rice was undercooked and crunchy. The rest of it was pretty good. The service wasn’t bad but it was all exceptionally better for breakfast. I had the French toast and it was good. I more liked the bacon as it was cooked perfectly and crispy.

Pretty restaurant, sat at bar, service was fine as it was just me. No unsweet iced tea. Duck gumbo was fine, nothing special. Hearts of palm salad, not my vibe. Fried chicken is $28 for leg and thigh. Not worth it at all. The restaurant was completely empty. Would maybe go back but I wouldn’t repeat order. No pics as they weren’t worth the photo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The ambience was 1920’s. A beautifully restored building. The service and food were wonderful. We had their meatloaf Wellington. It’s was really amazing. I’m trying to duplicate it at home. The rest of the food and wine were amazing. After dinner we took the wine and finished it on the patio. A great end to the day.

Since this is in a hotel we plan to stay here, at Nola, the next time we visit.
