‘The older gentleman at the register was a bit rude and thinks everyone understands his particular job. It was out first time here and wasn’t real sure if a lot of things. And when we asked questions he was rude and answered in a way like we should know the answer. Very unhappy from that point on. We finally get our orders placed and go sit done. It was FREEZING inside the restaurant. And saying ‘freezing’ is not an understatement. My party (5 people) all had very visible goosebumps. I watched people going to their cars for sweaters and cardigans, and still sat there hugging themselves to get warm. We made 2 orders for food, neither was was correct. Certain family members had to drink water, because of the lack of non-coke products and other choices of no sugar drinks. More than 1 family member. cannot drink coke and cannot have sugar bever ages. Makes for a lot of frustration. However, I DO think you should open an A&W restaurant in the southeast side of Albuquerque. Will we go back? Possibly, if we are in that area again.

Went to try a cheeseburger, fries, and Root beer. It’s more of a long john silver. Food was ok, not overwhelming. Awesome Root beer. I have to try the Root beer float.

LJS/A&W is a new location. Girl at register did not know the menu, sides, didn’t have a recommendation. She let us know it was her 3rd day. There is a stuffed animal on the counter, but no stock for sale. We asked, they had to get the manager. The store smells of Long John Silvers, not a burger place. Food was mid.

Really like the LJS part of the restaurant, but the A&W buns are always cold. Heat/grill/toast the buns, please! Service is usually good, but it can take awhile to get your food. Dining room very hot in summer. Great root beer in frosty mugs.

Hadn’t been to A&W in about 10 yearsI enjoyed my Papa Burger. The waffle fries, on the other hand, looked like scraps. My wife’s were more appealing. Our order was out before we finished filling our drinks. The dining room could have used a cleaning.

Highly disappointed how do you run out of the one thing you sell the most of ( root beer ) poor management this isn’t the first time I drive all the way up here and mind you I waited at least six minutes before ordering for them to say there out. And I drove from alb wasted my gas.⛽️

I went there yesterday (2-17-25) after we went to the Expo flea market to get a mattress and the food was delicious and I liked the root beer float and I only been here once before yesterday and it was a long time ago so I don’t remember when LOL but I’ll be back here soon.

Very good experience, especially for a fast food place! Food was fresh – better waffle fries than Chick-fil-a! Service was abnormally good! Multiple employees even came to ask how we were doing.
