Go and be merry. What a gem to find! As a lady.. going to bar alone can be a bit of a gamble. This place was so welcoming, no weird predator vibes at all and there was an extremely cute pooch who greeted my sister and I at the door. The drinks were delicious, not a bunch of sweet syrup and ice. The bartender was so sweet and there are comfy couches at the bar and kitschy vibe that I loved. We would have stayed all night if we could. Thank you for this gem.

Last May/June I had attended 5.bar as a customer. At one point, I went to the restroom. Immediately upon exiting, a larger, white, blonde woman (simply an accurate description) who claimed to be the bartender kicked me out. And by that I mean forcefully grabbed my wallet (thus stealing my drivers license, debit card, cash), way-too-roughly put her hands on my shoulder and kicked me out. I wasn’t given a reason for why I was being kicked out. I know that this bartender committed a felony against me and I didn’t have a phone or service at the time to report. Don’t go here. Ever. In my experience and opinion.

Five Bar in Beloit is an absolute gem, and a huge part of that is due to the incredible hospitality of the owner, Levi. From the moment you walk in, he makes you feel completely at home with his warm and welcoming personality. The atmosphere is fantastic, the drinks are top-notch, and the service is consistently excellent. Levi’s passion for his establishment and his customers truly shines through, making every visit a memorable one. It’s the kind of place you can’t wait to go back to. Highly, highly recommend!

Great mid century modern themed bar with a fantastic drinks menu. Me and my wife went and had fun playing bumper ball while enjoying drinks. It’s a great additional to the fantastic food and vibe going on in down town Beloit. I will definitely be returning.

5bar is one of the most inclusive and warm bars you can find around! It’s super cozy with delightful couches instead of boring stools by parts of the bar and the overall retro ambience makes you feel like you’re home. One can easily strike up a fun convo with any of the regular bar patrons as well as the staff and owner. I have had nothing short of a great time every time I’ve been in! Oh, and they make incredible cocktails that keep me coming back.
