2nd time coming to Shabu Lee. great experience.
There are many possibilities on food. I love hot pot and sushi and this place grants both. I was extremely impressed with their Sunburned Maki. It was superb, they roast the sushi to perfection and that provided a nice char flavor. It was the highlight of my dinner.
Hot pot was standard and a le carte. Great proteins but I blame myself not knowing which broths of theirs to pair with proteins to optimize flavor.
Price was favorable and affordable. So much so that I treated myself to Hot Sake to compliment my sushi experience.
Atmosphere was welcoming. The staff had pleasant personalties and smiled. The environment was calm, itseems they excel more in carry out then eat in as they were not too busy for a Sunday dinner.
Overall, a great experience. Can’t wait to go back for Surburned Maki.

This Japanese & Chinese restaurant had a nice combination of foods. The staff was polite and helpful to us with menu choices. Our food choices were good the house rice dish had lots of nice flavor. The sushi roll was good, although the seaweed they used was a bit chewy. We had a good lunch. Not a large restaurant but they did have a couple of big screen TVs. As we observed other tables, we noriced the tables had an inlay of a hot plate, ours included. We saw that other seated customers had ordered the Hot Pot with lots of choices like meats, fish or just vegetables. Next time we may try this experience.

The delivery driver was extremely rude and lazy. I ordered for delivery last night and the driver called when he was outside and made me walk to the car! He rolled the window down and passed me the food thru the window. He didn’t even bother to get out of the car and DELIVER it to my door. So rude and lazy. I left a $5 tip in cash and I only live 1 mile down the street from the restaurant it’s very close. I wish I left no tip! I will not order for delivery again!

Shabu lee is a small Japanese/ Chinese restaurant located in downtown Norwood. This little place serves some of the most amazing food with very reasonable prices.
I’ve never had to chance to dine in at this place due to this on going pandemic but, I’ve had takeouts from Grubhub and Uber eats from this place. The food is delicious and the portion size is decent enough. The prices are decent as well. I’ve tried their wonton dumpling noodle soup, spring rolls and egg rolls and all were fantastic and yum. I’d surely order again from this place and try some more of their offerings.
I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants a decent Chinese/ Japanese meal at a reasonably affordable price point.

The quality of the meat and seafood is on point, and they have a great menu selection that caters to everyone’s taste. It was a cold day and was craving hot pot. The restaurant is small and it seems like takeout was popular during dinner. We only saw street parking which is plentiful. The owner was very friendly and attentive.
We ordered the kimchi hot pot soup base with Japanese ramen noodles, beef, enoki mushrooms, bok choy and assorted tofu. The soup base was good and I didn’t notice it being spicy. The beef was cut in large slices and most of the items were frozen as expected besides the bok choy. Really appreciated the induction hot plate and 10% discount when paying cash.

Love their hotpot. Been here twice. Food and service were equally excellent both times. Their broths are so flavorful. We’ve tried the miso, tonkatsu and Spicy Schezwan. The Spicy Schezwan is great to have on rainy days.
