I’m convinced most of the folks dropping bad reviews for this place are either perpetually cranky or just have no grip on reality. Luna Pier Beach Cafe? Calling it a “cafe” is a stretch—it’s a beach pub, plain and simple. You’ll get exactly what you’d expect: drinks, food, and service with a side of lake-town grit. Let’s talk about the wings though, some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Fall-off-the-bone tender, not kidding. I tried the flatbread too, and unlike what the naysayers claim, mine was actually delicious. I swung by right at open, camped out with some email and meetings, and for the one day I had to explore Monroe, I have zero regrets about landing here. If you’re expecting fine dining, keep moving. If you want good food and no pretense, this is your spot.

Stopped here for a quick lunch, definitely feel like this is a nighttime place (don’t let the cafe in the name deceive you.) food was MID flatbread was CHEWY wrap was EH and it took a long time (they probably only have one microwave back there.) patio was nice but hella flies and u get the delightful scent of smoke while a buncha old hicks chain smoke 3 packs in the time u finish your meal. Anyways, definitely check it out at night I’m sure it’s way more fun and drinks good then.

The flatbread pizza was so good! I usually won’t get fb is it’s so undercooked but I was like let’s try it and it was perfect. Service was great and the drinks were good and prices also pretty good.

This is one of my absolute favorite places to go for a quick drink by myself, a place to catch some tunes for date night, to take my kids to unwind and eat dinner, or to order takeout. The staff is beyond friendly and always attentive, they have the best Flatbread pizza in the area, and the drinks are always top notch. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. You won’t find a better atmosphere, location, and taste of southeast Michigan lake life than right here.

Great small town Café with an awesome vibe! Awesome staff, in the kitchen and especially behind the bar! Those ladies are awesome! Smiles always on hand. I’ve been there a few times but it is now my Fav hangout! The live music on the summer weekends is great. It is definitely worth the drive to come by and hang out. Very cool place to be!
