This place is so fresh the food is great. Everything I ordered was made fresh it’s hard to find restaurants like this. And to top it off the prices are good. I ordered bacalao, alcapurrias, empanada and mofongo mar y Tierra. I was so impressed with everything I even got dessert a frappe and tembleque for 50 bucks. Lakeland you need to come check it out.

I am originally from NY and I have been searching for the best Puerto Rican (NY style) restaurant in the Lakeland to Brandon area. So when I tasted the most delicious foods at What the What NY Style, I was hooked. I have found my favorite restaurant and the prices are very resonable. The arroz con gandules and pernil desmenuzada are the best I have tasted. The spices are dead on. The owner and employees made the experience perfect.

We embarked on an incredible trip to Central Florida with my wife and stumbled upon this gem on a Friday afternoon! Even with the lighter foot traffic, the atmosphere was absolutely electrifying. It instantly transported us back to those magical island vibes! The staff were beyond friendly and incredibly helpful, adding to the overall charm of the place. And let me tell you, the food was nothing short of spectacular! I wholeheartedly recommend anyone who has the chance to make it here. You won’t regret it—this place is truly unforgettable!

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Overpriced food, with very little food. Flavors are NOT on point! By the pics on Google location we thought we were ordering from a restaurant, Come to find out when we went to pick it up, it was the food truck on the corner with t -mobile. (Not sure where the pics came from) we will NO longer be ordering from them. $28.00 later & we are definitely NOT happy with what we got.

I had the Tripleta sandwich and I must say, it’s a must visit here. From entering to finishing the food was amazing and if your closing listening, you will hear Coquis singing in the background. So relaxing hearing them. So if you want some good ole Boricua Food!!! Come here to the What the What!!!!

Way overpriced and only a VERY little bit of food. Paid $60 and was shocked when I saw the small amount of food that we got. Found them on Facebook and I was looking forward to it, cause the food looked amazing on pictures. But was unfortunately disappointed. Won’t be back.

This place is the real deal. I am very picky when it comes to Puerto Rican food and this food was the closest to home cooking, especially the arroz con gandules! It has so much flavor and you can ser that there is love being put into it. Dios bendiga las manos de los cocineros! Wonderful customer service. They make you feel like you in the island with so much hospitality

I ordered a passion fruit frappe and it was so good and pure that you think that you are eating straight from the vine. And for the main course, I ordered pigs feet with white rice and carné frita it tasted like the one that my mom made it brought tears to my eyes as it was that good.
