Japanese noodles, teriyaki & sushi are dished up in a bright, modern space with counter service.

I get where all the bad reviews are coming from, it was not that great for me before when I last ate there before. I had yakisoba and an order of bubble tea both of which I didn’t really care for. Service then was ok.
Today I tried it again and ordered a beef teriyaki which I promptly changed after I saw their special that day. A chicken teriyaki that came with four pcs of gyoza for a dollar more.
The staff changed my order without fuss, he was friendly and served my order as quickly as I expected for a made to order dish. There was only one other person before me who was ordering too.
The food was generous for the price (it was enough for the hubby and my toddler, with a few bites for me) and tasted good. I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the taste of the food.
I have not tried the yakisoba nor the bubble tea again so I don’t know if that has improved but note that the prices really are considerably lower. Like if you want to be a happy bubble tea customer, go to the University or International District for your milk tea/bubble tea fix.
I will try their other dishes next time and review them too.
Give the spot a chance a try their chicken teriyaki now.
Note to the owner:
My advise is to significantly trim the menu (to lower cost), focus on vastly improving the most popular dishes (to encourage repeat diners and generate new customers), and serve really good bubble tea (because no other place offers it for miles around) or take it off the menu if you can’t (to avoid disappointing customers and bad reviews).

This is a good place for grease. If you like grease, this is the place. Little to no flavor. Relatively quick service, but he got one of our orders wrong. Then my bubble tea was wrong. I ordered slushie, which is the most expensive option, surprise, no slush. It wasn’t the right flavor. So I took it back and the one I got back was the right flavor, but not slushie. So I gave up. Then we noticed their food safety rating literally reads “OK”. Never again.
The cafe right next door is good, great even. Go there instead.

First time I visited I ordered a blended bubble tea & it wasn’t thick at all. Very watered down & had no flavor.. Then I come by another day, just to give it another try.. I order a different flavor bubble tea but it was still a big disappointed. No flavor at all.. Waste of money. Definitely not coming back.

I eat here all the time. They have the best tofu you can get anywhere. I don’t usually enjoy tofu, but here they make it fresh, and it tastes wonderful. Also, the Orange Chicken is soft and delicious, made with a special glaze that is sweet, I get Tofu Ramen (the ramen is amazing) and either Orange Chicken or the House Fried Rice every time I come here.
I honestly don’t know what’s wrong with all you people giving this place bad reviews.

In a town full of excellent food, this is not one of those places. This place would not be my food of last resort, but if good alternatives are available then you should take them.
It was adequate. Not particularly flavorful or original, and the staff was semi-slow and not particularly friendly. My friend got ignored for quite some time while waiting for service.

Absolutely horrible food. Bland meat, gave the wrong rice (we asked for brown and they gave white) the ramen was DREADFUL! Absolutely no seasoning(I added two cups of hot sauce to try and make it work) and the sushi tasted old. If you want to eat somewhere go to the restaurants next to this place.

I cannot enough echo the sentiments of those giving one star. Meager portions and marshy, ill-formed rice add far too much salt to the injury this restaurant has inflicted on Japanese food. Retired lettuce casually thrown to its grave in a wok does not constitute a vegetable medley any more than a scattered few morsels of boiled, mutilated chicken bathed only in the final minute in a wretched sauce constitutes Teriyaki, a dish variety already seldom served in Japan itself. After tax and the socially-obligatory tip, haphazardly and without shame begged for upon your bill, this concoction factory has proved without equal to be a waste of money and empty stomach alike. If the reader should find themselves in need of satiation, it would serve them better to be hungry further than to encourage the continued façade of culinary expertise.

worst chicken teriyaki ive ever had in my life to call what they gave me teriyaki is an insult to teriyaki. the chicken was boiled and unmarinated. they cant even make white rice correctly. if i could make a time machine the first thing id use it to do would be to stop myself from going there. oh and the house green tea tastes like melted plastic; not sure how theyre heating it up but im sure its not entirely safe. 0/10, worst food ive ever had in my life.

I’m not sure how this place manages to earn enough to stay open. It has been consistently mediocre. Very bland meat, greasy and soggy tempura, completely forgetting to make our order, waited almost 45 min for an order once, I could go on. I’m done trying here.

Had the terrikyaki chicken, I literally chucked it away after my first bite. Their food is horribly oversalted, can’t even find the word for how bad it was. Pls change the restaurant name to SALT .
