Had the trio for dinner which consisted of more ceviche, seafood fried rice and the tastiest traditional Peruvian potatoes.
There was no wait and the waiter was friendly and quick. He recommended other food to try as well. I cannot recommend this place enough. TRY IT!!
Peruvian food is full of a flavor and is UNMATCHED!
Favorites:
* Anticuchos appetizer (beef skewers with potatoes in a creamy sauce)
* Tallarin Saltado (stir fry noodles with veggies and beef)
* Lomo Saltado (same thing but rice and French fries instead of noodles)
* Aji de Gallina (shredded chicken and eggs in a creamy sauce with rice) — Mmmmm soooo good
Amazing service, super friendly, and the food comes out quickly. There are pictures of the dish next to the descriptions on the menu, which is also helpful.
This is a hidden gem of Evansville. You will NOT be a disappointed eating here!!
10 stars! ⭐️
Food: my husband got the Peruvian Trio, and it was nothing short of amazing. I have never, literally ever, had ceviche this wonderful. The seafood fried rice was perfection . I got the seco de carne. The meat was tender, the beans were flavorful, and the spices were awesome. This is definitely a dish for someone who is wanting to dip their toe into cultured foods. For me, I wish I had ordered something more experimental. It’s giving roast beef with beans and rice. Still wonderful! But I like to be more adventurous with food. My husband definitely made the better order.
Experience: The restaurant is quaint and perfect foodie vibe. They’re definitely serving authenticity. Also, my husband and I could smell the food cooking from across the street in our car before we even opened the door. It smells like heaven in there! Our waitress was nice. We took our food to go and I thoroughly believe that was a mistake. We should have eaten there.
Price point: our order was a little over $40.00 after we paid the tip. Not bad at all for what we got. Not knock your socks off cheap either though.
Over all wonderful experience! That ceviche will keep me coming back indefinitely!
