Wonderful, intimate space with excellent options and friendly, down-to-earth service (big shoutout to Chris, the bartender!). I loved the sushi platter with the homemade sriracha sauce, but the kani salad was actually my favorite—basically a papaya salad but with crab!

The bartender was the only server on the bar side but it’s small enough that he was attentive and we didn’t feel neglected or anything. In other words, the service was great!
We each ordered appetizers and main dish and everything was delicious – we ordered Blue fin tuna carpaccio, yellow tail carpaccio, Kani Salad, a couple rolls of sushi and glazed salmon.
Like I said everything was delicious. My only complaint is the portion. The price is a dinner price but the portions are all more like appetizer portions.
We ended up going to another place later for a bowl of noodles.
But, we’ll definitely come back though.

First time trying this place tonight and it did not disappoint! We ordered 3 rolls and 3 bao buns. Every single bite was phenomenal! We ate at the bar and the drinks were perfect. Service was on point and the staff was very personable. Unfortunately we had to leave just as a DJ was getting started (8pms on Saturdays). Music was low key and lounge-y; it was a great vibe. By far the best sushi I’ve ever had in St Pete. We will definitely be regulars here!

“If I could marry sushi, I’d be Casa Nori’s loyal spouse forever.”
First of all, let’s get something straight—Casa Nori isn’t just a restaurant. It’s a sushi temple disguised as a Japanese-Mexican fusion lounge, where rolls are rolled with love, poke bowls are built like edible art installations, and you leave asking yourself, “Did I just achieve spiritual enlightenment via raw fish?”
Let’s start with the Tuna Poke Bowl. It wasn’t just a poke bowl—it was a poke BLESSING. The tuna was so fresh I half expected it to swim off my plate. There was enough avocado in there to make a millennial weep. The textures? Crunchy tempura, smooth mango, tender tuna… it was like a jazz band of flavor playing a love song in my mouth.
And then—dear reader—came the Papasito Roll. Let me tell you, it’s called Papasito because it’s the daddy of all sushi rolls. Shrimp, tempura, cream cheese, asparagus, topped with baked salmon, jalapeños, masago, green onions, spicy mayo AND eel sauce?! I blacked out halfway through and came to with a single tear in my eye and soy sauce on my shirt.
The drinks? I got the Shiso Sunset, which tastes like a grapefruit vacation for your taste buds, and I don’t even like sunsets or grapefruit. Honestly, the whole cocktail menu reads like a botanical garden went to bartending school.
And the vibe? Think upscale Tokyo lounge meets trendy Tulum cantina. It’s moody, romantic, and just bougie enough to make you think about refinancing your car for more sushi.
Casa Nori, if you’re reading this—thank you for existing. I’ll be back every week until I turn into a spicy tuna roll and have to be served to someone else.
10/10. Would get soy sauce on my shirt again.

Fresh and tasty! We got the Otoro nigiri and it was the freshest otoro that we have ever tasted. Also tried the edamame, bao buns, and a couple of the rolls. Everything was delicious. Will be back!

If I’m paying premium prices, I expect premium service. We were the only table and still had to chase our server down all night, even just to order fancy drinks. No waters, no check-ins, nothing. I came expecting real Mexican fusion, but it was just average sushi with Mexican names. The only thing upscale here is the price. They even added a 22% gratuity for bad service. The music was great though—that’s about it.

Seems like they are deleting bad reviews lol. I reviewed the other spots inside edge eatery so might as well do this one too. Let’s start off by saying that the space is too small for these 3 counters and its super confusing. If you are not greeted and explained how it works, might as well just leave.
As for the sushi, I can get cheaper and better tasting sushi at pretty much any other location. They charge as if it is a high class restaurant, but its just a counter.
The owner or manager seemed too eager to take us next door, which I assume is a lounge. It was extremely off putting.

Best sushi I’ve had in St. Pete, hands down. Every bite was fresh and perfectly crafted. The drinks were phenomenal — creative, balanced, and strong in all the right ways. Great vibe, great service, and easily my new go-to spot in town.

Disappointing! Understaffed for a busy Saturday night. Had a reservation and went inside and told the bartender and he told us to sit, and we waited for a bit and noticed they had one server and one bartender for the whole place which was not enough even for the small space. We never got any menus and decided to leave and go somewhere else.

So so so good! Hands down one of the best sushi’s I’ve had in St Pete. The head chef Marisol was incredibly sweet, attentive and knowledgeable on the food she recommended. We had the Nori roll, volcano roll , and papasito roll. They were all A++++ 10/10. Worth the price and the place has great atmosphere (both inside and outside seating). The flan was homemade by Marisol herself and was SO good. I could definitely tell it was homemade. You will not regret coming to Casa Nori and ask for Marisol! Hopefully she takes care of you and your table because your experience will be phenomenal. Will definitely be coming back!! 10/10
