This place genuinely feels like home. The food tastes like it’s cooked with love, patience, and care — the kind of Indian food that reminds you of meals made by mom after a long day. Every dish is full of flavor without being overdone, and you can tell nothing here is rushed or careless.
What really makes this restaurant special is the heart behind it. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, and that warmth carries through the food and the whole experience. You don’t just come here to eat — you leave feeling taken care of.
If you want real, soulful Indian food that hits you with comfort and nostalgia, this is the place. Easily one of those spots you keep coming back to and proudly recommend to others.

Great service, great people, great portions, great prices, great flavours, 10/10 would recommend, it is so nice to have this place in Cold Lake! If you can’t make it to their location on the base, you can also try their food at the farmers market. This afternoon I ordered butter paneer with rice, naan, and veggie samosas (to go) and everything was delicious. I’ve enjoyed every dish I’ve tried here but the samosas continue to be my favourite.

pakora?

Butter Paneer was watery that was closer to a broth than a sauce. Order took 75 minutes for a 7 minute drive.

The best, most authentic Indian Butter Chicken in the city! You can tell the food is made with passion. Good portions with prices on par with what I’ve paid at other establishments outside the Lakeland. The owners are very friendly, lovely people.

Walked by and the amazing scents drew me in. Not hungry for a lot, I decided to opt for a couple samosas, one veggie, one chicken. WOW. So tasty, and filling. The veggie was fantastic and not too many peas (a problem I find with a lot of veggie samosas). The chicken was stuffed full of meat, a meal full in itself. I can’t wait to go back and try there other food
