Good selection of bakery items mostly on sweeter side. Would be nice to include more on savory side as well. There were few with cheese jalapenos and ham. Cakes and packed tortillas are available too.

Amazing Mexican bakery. They bake pastries and bread fresh daily and have bilingual employees that help anyone who walks in. Would highly recommend!

My wife and I got a cake and it was awesome. From the moment I walked in, I knew that place was special. Maria and Dana were so professional, friendly and fun. I’m glad to be supporting another local business that I should’ve been supporting a long time ago.

Authentic Mexican pastries, I lived in Mexico for awhile. I gave atmosphere a 3 star because its just a bakery. No area to sit down and eat, no frills, just the basics. My understanding is they just moved after my visit. I will make another review with their new location with photos.

Today was my first stop in this little piece of paradise. Maria was very nice! The bakery is very clean and welcoming. So many selections and all look very delicious. My favorite so far are the donuts. I can’t wait to come back!

This place is so homie. We discovered them when we went to the Knightdale parade and man we were hooked ever since! Their prices are incredible and the variety is spectacular! Can’t wait to go back.

I walked here with my kids after playing at the playground down the street. What a great find! They have lots of candy and ice cream bars for the kids and of course lots of pastries. I got a whole bunch to try and everything was delicious. We will definitely be back when we need a treat after playground time!

It’s disappointing to write this, but the last time we were at the bakery we bought different kinds of bread and when we were eating one of the pieces we founded that it has mold. I’m glad we noticed before we ate all of it. It makes me wonder if the bread is really made fresh.

La Mexicanita is located in the heart of downtown Knightdale stood a little bakery with a big heart. For years, its aroma of freshly baked conchas and sweet pastries wafted through the streets, drawing locals and visitors alike to its quaint storefront. Owned and operated by a resilient soul determined to share the flavors of Mexico with the world, La Mexicanita was more than just a bakery; it was a beacon of hope and unity in the community.

I still remember the first time I stumbled upon La Mexicanita. Intrigued by the bustling crowd gathered outside, I decided to join the queue, unsure of what to expect. As I took my first bite of a freshly baked concha, my taste buds were transported to a world of sweetness and warmth unlike anything I had ever experienced before. From that moment on, I was hooked. But it wasn’t just the irresistible pastries that kept me coming back to La Mexicanita; it was the sense of belonging and connection that permeated its walls. In a world plagued by division and discord, La Mexicanita served as a reminder that we are stronger together than we are apart.
