Waco’s Subway off exit 9 of I20 at the Love’s Gas Station is FABULOUS! Best service I’ve ever had at any restaurant, the sweet sammy artist with the blue hair was soooo amazing. She made my sandwiches as if she was making it for herself – exactly how I asked, but with care and it was so obvious that she was being genuine too. A GREAT place to stop for lunch, fresh food, clean atmosphere and Love’s is wonderful too! Thanks for giving us a nice break from the road craze! See y’all next time!

I saw live cockroaches on the food counter at the Subway inside this Love’s Travel Stop.
This was in the food preparation area, which is very concerning.
I would not recommend eating here until this issue is addressed.

Very bad experience at this place, I wanted to buy a sandwich with a coupon, which is served in all the Subway restaurant chains in the country and the manager treated me disdainfully and in a bad way, telling me that they did not accept coupons; then I wanted to buy the sandwich normally and asked for the cheese bread… they told me that they did not have any… anyway… I think, allegedly, that they did not want to give me the service, I felt discriminated against.

Contacted the store because over half of the bread roll for my sandwich the bread was hard as a rockandinedible…Itoleratedpart of it but wound up justtakingitapart and tossingit…the lady working there wasn’t interested in throwing the rest of it out so it wasn’t served to anymore customers….I understand that it was late at night but folks shouldn’t be served that sorta food and there ..and no I didn’t want another sandwich made like she offered…just for the problem to be fixed for other customers…a lot of drivers stop there and usually won’t notice the problem till they get further down the road and by then it’s too late….do better Love’s…do better

If you’re a POC, be prepared to be completely ignored if there’s white ppl in line. I was standing in line waiting for several minutes while another customer was being helped. No problem I’m next right? Wrong. A white man walks in and the girl behind the counter not only skips past me but looks dead at me and goes to help the guy that just walked in. I should’ve expected this from Georgia.

What a great young lady. Didn’t get her name but probably the best customer service I have ever had on the road. Not trying to be a idiot. But she is a young black maybe late teens or early 20s the store owner should be proud to have her on his team. I am a OVR trucker. She acts like she loves her job and takes interest in her customers. Would love to be able to see how her future turns out what a ray of sunshine in this dark dark world.

I gave them a three star only because I actually like having a full meal. And a sandwich is OK every now and then but not everyday. Otherwise they deserve a 5 star. I’ve always enjoyed the sandwich and especially the chocolate chip cookies. They keep the place clean and the price is fair. I definitely recommend this subway.
