Great spot for a bird dog – available in a variety of flavors. They have the best Pepsi here. Not sure how they do their mix differently but it is perfect. Good spot for a quick bite. There is limited parking in the front but there is a big lot behind the building.

We drove pass this place plenty of times and didn’t know what this restaurant was all about. So, we decided to get a menu just to see what they served and their prices. After that we decided to go in and give it a try. We ended up liking it. The food was good. We have been here several times eating in and carrying out. The food has always been good. The employees are nice but there is one employee that is especially nice. She goes out of her way to talk to you. She is very open about herself and she loves to talk to the customers. She works and talks at the same time. Anyway the food is good and made as ordered. The restaurant is always clean and it is usually always busy. Come to find out, the employees at the hospital enjoy eating here and the Anderson University students enjoy eating here and I have even seen police officers eating here. They have all different ages and people to eat here. There is front and back entrance and parking to the restaurant. There is public restrooms for both sex. There are high chairs and kids menu section. They have burgers, and fries, baked potatoes, potato salad, bird dogs, sandwiches, salads, soups, tea, and soda. I’m sure there are things I am forgetting. It is good for a single person or a group of people. There is handicapped parking and seating. They are opened Monday thru Thursday 11 till 7 and Friday and Saturday 11 till 3.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Would give it zero stars if I could. Not only is there nothing special about the food here, but the lady manager is very RUDE. We’ll not be returning ever. I’ve been a fan of JC’s since I was a young little punk. lol. Went there with my father often when he was still living. Decided to get lunch there today, and they are just as amazing as ever. Incredible food, reasonable pricing, and super friendly staff! Only issue you’ll ever have here is parking due to how popular this place is. That should tell you all you need to know. If you haven’t tried this local establishment, you are cheating yourself out of an incredible experience.

This place is great for a good no-nonsense American meal. I have had the bird dogs which are chicken strips in buns. I have had the cold plate with egg salad, chicken salad, and tuna salad and it was great. Or you can get the pimento cheese as a choice. It comes with lettuce and fruit. I really recommend!! It is crowded a lot so finding a table is a challenge quite often. But I’ve always gotten one. You go up and place your order and they bring it out to you. They don’t really have waitress/waiters per se that wait on you. But if you need something they are available at the cash register. Food and price are great.

I normally love JCs. I called ahead for my order and 40 mins after paying, I asked them about my order. They said 10 more mins. After 10 mins, still no food. I told them I wanted a refund and left. Disappointing experience
