This review is long past overdue, but here it is: This is an absolutely fantastic deli, locally owned and operated by an incredible couple. The meat is top notch, and the prices are fair. After being customers for more than a year, we cannot get lunch meat elsewhere. The chain grocery store offerings just can’t compare to the quality offered at Black Dog. We almost always keep Black Dog meats on hand. I highly recommend the Hawaiian ham, Applewood smoked ham, or the Applewood smoked turkey. We love the green onion cheese, too. I don’t think we’ve had a product yet we haven’t liked, honestly. I truly appreciate Kaydy and Brennan bringing such a unique offering to our little town and urge everyone to visit.

This is an amazing little place! Everything was so fresh and delicious. We had their Homemade white chicken chili a pastrami on rye. Highly recommend stopping in for lunch if you are in the Spring Mills State Park area. So friendly and welcoming!

First time here myself but my husband had been before and brought home the wheat berry bread. Prefect bread for a tomato sandwich, or any sandwich really. You can get a sandwich there with their products. These are a good size and very good! Tried the seafood salad which was also good. I’m sad they are not open on Monday which is typically when I’m in town as I’m already wanting to go back. I will be going back. A hidden gem!
