The short ribs were incredible—tender, juicy, and full of rich, sweet-savory flavor. Perfectly grilled with a slight char, they paired beautifully with fluffy rice. The portions were generous and incredibly satisfying. 10/10, would absolutely order again.

Today I only came to pick up order to deliver. The young man working in front was probably the most polite individual I’ve ever met. His customer service was extraordinary, seriously he was so happy to serve.

This was my first time trying Hawaiian food, and I ordered the chicken katsu. Unfortunately, I really didn’t enjoy it — the flavor and style just weren’t for me.
The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained, which I appreciated. However, since it was my first time, I had a few questions while ordering and didn’t feel the staff was very patient or helpful. They were polite, but I felt a bit rushed instead of guided, which didn’t make the experience better for a first-time customer.
I’m giving it 3 stars because the place was clean and organized, but the food wasn’t my taste and the customer service could have been more welcoming, especially for someone new to the menu.

L&L doesn’t really qualify as Hawaiian food but this one location at West Charleston has Garlic Chicken which is an off menu item and it is the best thing at any L&L. Try it, you won’t be disappointed. Weird thing is that it’s only at one location in Hawaii too.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 – Chicken Katsu and Loco Moco with sunny side up egg. The chicken katsu was a bit drier than usual and the pieces are unevenly cut (if cut at all). The loco moco was good and they were generous on the gravy! Wish the egg had a bit more fry at the bottom edge.
Service: 5/5 – very short interaction but friendly and quick.
Ambiance: 5/5 – typical of an L&L where the tables are clean but the signs and decorations are a bit worn.
Value for price: 5/5 – our go to chain but not the best location we’ve been to in terms of food. However, reasonable price, quick service, and decent food means we’ll continue to visit this chain!

Cute little spot and we tried all four types of Musubi. Very good! The spam and the chicken katsu.

Food was delicious! Atmosphere was chill. Lots of rice in the Musubis so that made them a little dry in my opinion. But everything else was great with plenty of food for what you pay. Great value.

I came for malasadas en route to other errands. When I walked in, the smell of the restaurant was not good… as if something had gone bad. I almost walked out, but I figured I only wanted malasadas. Unfortunately, that was not a good experience either. The smell of them was of old overused frying oil and the taste was bad, and as if the same oil used all day for food was used for the donuts. I had one and could not eat any of the other ones, threw them out (you can only order a set of them instead of choosing a couple; there were 7 in my box, so unfortunately a waste of money). It’s my first time here, but can’t say I’d return.

SO GOOD. The value here is off the charts. You get so much protein and it’s so delicious. I got the spicy chicken and it blew my mind how good it was. Awesome customer service too. They cooked the food fresh for us and it was super fast, less than 10 min. This is instantly one of my our favorites!
