Got some adobada and pastor tacos. Delicious! The place is clean and not a lot of crowd. However, make sure you get enough salsas if you need. They tried to charge me 50 c for getting a second salsa.

The menu is extensive, the prices are very reasonable, and the food is legit. Get a couple of tacos, grab some salsa and peppers from the self-serve area, and enjoy the heck out of it!

Delicious and inexpensive! The salsas are all unique and delightful. I ordered a smothered burrito which was quite large for about $7.50 after tax. I will definitely be returning soon to try their breakfast burritos. I also spoke with the owner and he couldn’t have been more pleasant to converse with during my purchase.

I Love this restaurant! I have had wonderful food every time I’ve been to this establishment! The customer service is out of this world! This morning my daughter and her friend begged me,at the last minute,to get breakfast burritos before school. Pressed for time I went in and ordered burritos to go! I joked about how my daughter and her friend waited till the last minute to order their breakfast. The man that helped me was so amazing! He went above and beyond in the short time he had and did it all with a smile ! The burritos were amazing as always! His customer service is awesome and extremely friendly ! My family and I Love this restaurant and the people who work there! If you do not try this place you are definitely missing out on great food and customer service where people treat you like family.

Very solid breakfast burritos. Very nice staff as well. This place offers a lot of cool options (Mexican candies, sweets, etc.) They also have fantastic salsas….you must try them all! Recently tried the lunch option and enjoyed that quite a bit. Smothered burrito was good and the Cuban torta was awesome.

If you’re looking to eat authentic Mexican food this is most definitely not the place! The food was terrible and not authentic at all. The beans served are clearly served from cans (not that there’s anything wrong with canned beans) just not authentic beans. The meat has terrible spices if they even have any just no flavor at all:( (has armpit smell flavor) the only good thing are there side of fries. Hope this helps some of you looking to eat there definitely don’t recommend:)

Have been eating here for several years and it’s gone way downhill. Last time we visited, a couple of weeks ago, the carne was really salty, overcooked to the point of crunchiness, and the cashier service was poor (sullen attitude, got part of our order wrong – it wasn’t busy so no good excuse). Won’t be back. I’m from San Diego and know good Mexican food; don’t understand all the great reviews.

I have tried the highly ranked place across the street and I just don’t get the reviews between the two restaurants. I love this place for what it is…cheap Mexican food with an incredible salsa bar.
I always order the same thing: 1 chicken taco, 1 shrimp taco & 1 fish taco. I have never eaten anything else there (take this into consideration for my review). The place across the street had breaded shrimp and chicken which is too heavy for me and not so great tasting in a taco. I love the Chipotle mayo on the shrimp taco and the regular mayo on the fish taco here.
Note: I have eaten the fries from my kid’s kid meals and I love them. They are the frozen kind but they are the best fries imo in Lafayette. I like the Ted’s Montana grill fries from fresh potatoes the best but these are excellent and potato-ey in their own delicious way.
For the price, their food is the best. I eat here at least once a week.
