My only feedback would be I wish the chais could be ordered with alt milks they are premade and dairy is not great for my family
We got the chilli chicken risotto balls, steak taco paracos and chicken fusion bowl. And I was pleasantly surprised! The ingredients were fresh and spice level was great for being fusion. The presentation was fancy and we loved the little touches of chutney and curry patta.
Definitely need to come back and try the drinks!!!
Make sure to try wide range of desserts. I loved the Gulab Jamun Donuts!!
The menu boasts innovative dishes, such as the donut-shaped gulab jamuns, which I rated a 5/5 for their wholesomeness. My personal favorite was the tandoori mac n cheese, which I rated a 4/5. Additionally, I sampled several other dishes that were notably flavorful, with the tandoori chicken naan bites earning a 3/5.
A must-try is their renowned Original IRANI chai, unparalleled in the Chicago area.
Portion sizes are a bit small, but it’s meant to be sampled and tried for a lot of items. Can be a bit surprising if you don’t know.
Great food and ambience too! Service is more casual which does contrast to how inventive and interesting the food is… But the owner is really friendly!
Overall, really recommended, especially if you’re looking for good, unique halal food experiences.
The owner is genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve met. Somehow, I ended up trying almost one of everything on the menu, and every single thing hit. I couldn’t even pick a favorite.
Now the Irani chai? Easily the best I’ve ever had. I’ve tried almost every kind of authentic chai out there, in and out of the country, and hands down this is the BEST one I’ve ever had. The first sip is heavenly, and by the end, I’m already debating whether or not I should get another to go. Both their hot and iced Irani chai are flawless.
Not only is the space beautiful and welcoming but what makes this place even better for me is that they give back. They’ve hosted charity events, almost always have some type of special going on, and genuinely care about the community and giving back in general.
It’s an inclusive, diverse space where you’ll feel welcome whether it’s your first time, you’re dining alone, or with a group. I’d say it’s the perfect spot for almost anything including business meeting and studying/working remote; they do have outlets and wifi. They also do private events which have all looked amazing on their IG.
Also, one thing I was really impressed by is that they have a drive-thru!
10/10 shoutout to the owner!
include the two pictured and I would definitely recommend them. Food was incredible. Service is pretty slow and they should work on that. They bring food to you but that’s it everything else you have to ask for at the counter including boxes. They should work on speedier food to customers and their service for their tables. I would give 3 stars but I genuinely believe the food made up for a few things. This is a new restaurant so I hope they are still just figuring things out. Lots of potential here
