The service was great and food was fantastic! I got the Chico’s Bowl. Mild salsa was great! White queso was some of the best I’ve ever had.

Chicos has veey good frinks, and Jose makes them best, Long Islands are GREAT. They have a very good chili verde, which is in a few entres or can be ordered in a bowl with flour tortillas. They also have a really good guacamole. Atmosphere is not its strong point, but its food is good, not anything super fancy, but neither are the prices.

I’m sorry I had the worst experience here completely different from everyone else. My daughter ordered fried ice cream the shell tasted weird I tried it, it tasted weird like maybe cleaner or something it was really weird and very soggy not like fried ice cream at all. We send it back they said it was fresh. It may have been fresh at one time but the outside was completely soggy and disgusting and it’s 7.50. she couldn’t eat it and I asked it to be taken off the bill then they acted mad at us the rest of the meal. I couldn’t eat any my meal but two bites of beans and no one asked if anything was wrong why the food was left on several of our plates, they just didn’t care. The rice was bland and cold and maybe old. It was my birthday dinner and the reviews were so good we thought it had to be good but it was honestly the worst meal I ever had in a restaurant. I had fried flour tacos and they were over fried and you can tell the grease was old tasting. I’ve rarely complained I don’t usually complain but wow $43 and some change for three meals and one was a *supposed* $6 kids meal so much we couldn’t eat. Maybe we’re a one off experience. We must be with the high score and all the 5 star reviews. I really, really wish it had been different.

There is no way this is 4.7 stars ….we’ve eaten at hundreds of Mexican restaurants…authentic and Tex-mex…this place is hands down the second worst of them all. Hamburger meat was grey, store bought stale chips, poor salsa, enchiladas were nasty…guac was old…and everything was microwaved. Food came out 1 -2 minutes after we ordered. My sister had just gotten out of the hospital and was using a walker to get around. She was having a hard time standing up, I was doing everything I could to get her up but she was just too scared to fall so she was pushing herself back down. I thought I was going to have to call a fireman to come and help my little sister stand up. I asked if there was a young man who could help me get my sister up, the waitress said, “I can do it.” She got one arm under my sister and I got the other arm and she got my sister up easily. What a relief! We really did not want to have to call 911 to help my sister stand up I felt so grateful and a little embarrassed to need help getting my small frail sister up. The waitress put my worries at ease.
Back to the food, did I mention how amazing it is? It is phenomenal! They also have chicken nuggets for our picky eaters. My son likes their nuggets a lot. We love Chico’s!

Not only did they accommodate our short notice—they nailed it.
The food was phenomenal. Every dish arrived fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. From the savory cheese dip to tacos.
Service-wise, the team was on time, professional, and genuinely warm. They set everything up seamlessly and even helped us arrange a stunning display. It felt like they were just as invested in making the evening special as we were.
What could have been a stressful evening turned into a truly memorable one, thanks entirely to the care and quality from Chico’s Mexican Restaurant. Nice clean restaurant good food and friendly service. Don’t know if it’s family owned/run but it has that vibe . Prices were pretty fair too. I would highly recommend people try it I think you’ll be happy you did
