Casually elegant dining, drinks, and desserts. While The Meredith Inn Restaurant has a grand and historic feel, our relaxed atmosphere provides a great experience for families and adults alike. We’ve created a menu that consists of a wide variety of options for every guest. Our taproom features twelve domestic and craft draft beers, seasonal cocktails, and a thoughtful selection of wines and spirits. We accommodate approximately 50 guests in our indoor dining rooms and 9 guests in the bar. Reservations in advance are recommended. There is no dress code, but many of our guests enjoy getting dressed up for a nice evening out!

I went back after the restaurant kindly reached out to me following my first visit. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was good and a clear improvement from before. While entrées are on the higher end price-wise, my meal of seared scallops was enjoyable and well prepared. I did not order a dessert but the table next to me did and they looked amazing. Overall, I’d give the food a 3.5/5. The atmosphere and staff really continue to be the standout here, and I’m glad I gave it another try.
The service and atmosphere here is a 10/10. It’s a beautiful place and service is stellar.

Pricey but worth the cost. Beautiful establishment, high end quality environment including food, drinks, and desserts. All you can eat crab legs on Wednesday I believe and prime rib another most of the time. Have a daily special and a small but delicious menu for daily meals. Highly recommend the desserts, absolutely scrumptious! Top notch ownership and employees are always welcoming and friendly with great service! Best place to eat in Kittanning and possibly all of Armstrong county!

This is my second review. I deleted the first one. I had an iffy one-off experience the first time I came, which turned out to be an anomaly. I wasn’t very impressed with my food.
I have been back twice, since then, and I have to say I love this place. The food is quite good and well prepared. My wife had the delicious crab cakes for dinner. I took a chance and had the Chicken Parmesan. I say that I took a chance because I’m from the New York area and consider myself pretty snobby when it comes to ethnic foods. I have to tell you that it was excellent. The bill wasn’t bad either and I intend to come back here on a regular basis. Excellent work, Meredith.

Our first trip here and it didn’t disappoint. Overall is was a nice atmosphere, very friendly and the house is very well done. The food turned out to be very good, no complaints other than maybe the price being on the high side. Unfortunately thats where things are today with inflation. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the portions were nice size. They didn’t skimp on anything, even the basic side salads were loaded.

My dad and I celebrated his birthday with lunch at the Meredith. Food and service were exceptional! The sherry crab bisque is superb and the coconut shrimp heavenly.
Yes it is pricey, but we’ll worth it!

We just hosted my sister’s bridal shower at the Meredith Inn and had an AMAZING experience. Throughout the whole planning process, Emily was super communicative, helpful, and accommodating to say the least.
When we arrived the day of the shower, we were all blown away at how beautiful everything was! We requested a “Bridgerton Tea Party” aesthetic and got just that. Emily & Morgan took great care of us and constantly made sure we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.
I couldn’t recommend hosting an event here more. HUGE thank you to everyone at the Meredith Inn for making my sister’s shower fabulous. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Very nice restored facility redone in the era the building was built. Great luncheon menu. Had the salad with scallops.
Only issue was that we were close to the door and draft made my féet very cold.
