Beautiful Christian atmosphere. The staff are so pleasant, with gracious and warm southern smiles. Everything is clean and there are no mysterious smells.
I ordered the shrimp and grits. And it was delicious!
All I typically drink is water when we go out. The water was good…it didn’t have that weird sewer taste like you get at some places. You can tell a lot about the place you are at by what kind of water they give you in your glass.

Stopped at Stacy’s Skillet for 1st time. A few patrons scattered about restaurant. Restaurant closes at 2 pm. We were there abt 1:00. Large open dining room. Salad bar was great!! My husband and I both ordered shrimp and grits which came with the salad bar and drink for $14 ea. Disappointed is an understatement!! We both love good shrimp and grits… to us…this was no where near what we were expecting!! The dish consisted of 2 large scoops of grits which had the consistency of cold mashed potatoes. Nothing creamy about them!!! Grits covered in a spicy sauce with 6 rubbery shrimp. Grits to gravy/shrimp ratio was 80/20. IF we stop here again…would I EVER order shrimp and grits…NO!!!

While the lunch portion would be to small 6oz hamburger, I got the dinner version 10oz which was a little over cooked and dry but had a great flavor and plenty of gravy and onion to balance it out. The roasted skillet potatoes were good. My wife said her sirloin steak was perfectly cooked and flavorful and one of the best steaks she’s had. The salad bar was fresh and very cleanly organized. The service is top tier with that charm you can only get in an authentic southern gem like this. Prices are reasonable.

We brought my mom here for her birthday. We were made aware there were two large parties that they were attending too, and they said there would be a wait, which we understood. However, we were sat at about 6:20 and did not receive our food until 7:40, after four separate tables (who arrived after we did, with the same number of people to the table) received their food. I would understand if no one had gotten any food while the larger parties were served, but that was completely unacceptable. Then while we were waiting, our waitress did not check in until almost 7 to ask for refills. While I’m not one to file in complaints, I understand things happen and it gets hectic. But for our first time coming, Stacy’s did not leave a great impression and I hope if we ever do return, we would experience something better.

We had grilled and fried shrimp dinners. Everything was good except shrimp. Hard, small, chewy shrimps I think was leftover from a previous cooking and reheated and sold.

The Salad bar is the highlight! I prefer to support independent restaurants but felt more could be had at a chain steakhouse for the cost. Ambiance was good.
