My husband found this spot on our way home from a 24 hour road trip, we were dead tired and neither of us were fixing to cook. He could not have picked a better place. You could taste the passion in the cooking. The crisp on the fried chicken was impressive and the cube steak was nice and tender. The mashed potatoes were perfectly creamed and seasoned like they were made with love. It’s an hour away from us and he keeps asking to go back, worth it.

Down home buffet with fast Southern style Lunch. And a healthy salad bar. It is a great place to go get a quick hearty meal on the run. Usually featuring chicken, & some type of beef main course With mashed potatoes, macaroni cheese.It is and southern style green beans and vegetables. The Atmosphere is a little sad, old and needs an facelift. But I enjoy going there when i’m passing through Hampton.
