Whether you are looking for a good lunch spot or a place to have dinner with friends and family, Mazatlan is a great choice. The restaurant is clean and the service is good.
I stopped in for an early lunch. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish. The crowd was small so I was seated right away. I had the chicken chimichanga with pico, rice, queso, extra bowl of queso, salad and Coke. The portions were large and the food was good. My waiter was attentive without being annoying. He checked on me twice and then brought my check. The total was $19.30 before tip.
The restaurant is clean and the aisles are wide making them easily wheelchair accessible. Guests can choose a table or booth.

Between Granite and Lenoir we have our fair share of Mexican restaurants. I like many others have visited these establishments so many times the employees are family. Today for lunch decided to try Mazatlan in the granite shopping center and was really impressed. I can’t speak of people past experiences but today the food was fresh and very very good. My family and I will return in the future. The staff is very friendly even over what you’d expect. I feel more people should give this place a try. It is a true competitor to the others.

Best fajitas in the granite area , I came to eat on a Thursday to get their 12 dollar large chicken fajita special. Taste buds where surging the whole meal.service was great, manager came around to ask about the food, no complaints then he offered agua frescas, i ended up getting the pineapple one. A good price for what you’re getting. Look forward coming back fyi ask for a small extra hot salsa on the side to add a kick to the chicken!!!!!

AMAZING CHICKEN FAJITAS! I got the Thursday special . . . The small portion with rice, beans, chips, salsa and corn tortillas all for just $9.99 . . . And I could only finish half of it! Took the rest home for tomorrow. Great food and great service! And some colorful art on the walls . . . I’ll be back soon. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long. Ordered the chicken fajitas. WOW! So much food for the price! Everything was quite tasty. Chips were fresh. Salsa was good. Will go back again for sure! Service was excellent!

I’ve been here a few times since my initial review. I always order something different and every time the food is great! Came w my parents a few weeks ago and they both loved what they ordered as well. The service is always EXCELLENT!

This place was very expensive but offered no reason to pay $72 for basic tacos!!!
The ground “beef” was gross! The Refried beans were watery. The service was uncomfortabley weird. We had to keep asking someone (not our server) to bring drinks because our server forgot about us. The rice tasted like bagged rice in those 90 second microwave bags. We learned our lesson from now on we will just go to Mi Carreta in Lenoir!
