First time visiting Los Tios in Fredericksburg. I have to say that Junior (our server) was great! We loved his suggestions, attentive ear, and overall his service with a smile. So shout out to him. We were greeted when we came in. I can’t remember the young lady’s name but she was great as well. (Long curly/wavy) hair. We were there around 4pm on Sunday, so be sure to let her know we appreciate her too. Overall, the food was really good. I had beef enchiladas and hubby had chicken and steak fajitas. We enjoyed it!!

Karelia and David were amazing, they provided fantastic recommendations and conversation, they both checked on me to ensure I was happy with my selection and truly made my visit a priority. I would highly recommend this location and make sure to ask for them. I will for sure visit on my next visit. This was a treat and the food was delicious.

We came to Fredericksburg to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and we took a chance on Los Tíos. We’re glad we did. Even though the place was packed, the service was quick, and not once did we feel ignored by our waiter, Ezekiel… I hope that was his name, lol, who didn’t forget about us. He was very attentive and made our night really special. We ordered their ceviche and green enchiladas. They were very delicious and highly recommended. Next time we’re in town, we’ll be revisiting.

I visited Los Tios with my family – we visited on a Sunday and it was about 45 minute wait. They were very busy – I would suggest going early or put your name on and walk around the Main Street while you wait. Once we were seated we were promptly served. Our food came fast and it was all delicious. I highly recommend!

One of my top spots to suggest for people to take their friends and family when visiting Fredericksburg. Great service and management. Great bar and cocktails and the price for the quality of food can’t be beat. Gotta give credit where credit is due. And the puffy cheese is worth it as are the fajitas!

Edited review on 10/06/25: Personally spoke to Rebekah on 09/20/25 and she profusely apologized for our experience. The person that responded here who claimed she stopped by our table has been dealt with by management. Rebekah sent us gift cards to come back and give them another try and it was such a difference! Eden was our server and he took wonderful care of us during our visit =) Everything was perfect from the margaritas to our entrees. We appreciate you taking the time to listen to our feedback and try y’all again!
Edited review on 9/13/25: No one EVER stopped by our table to talk to us so this response is a straight up LIE!!!! Nice try whoever you are…I will be calling and it will NOT be pretty.
Dinner experience on 08/31/25: We had a reservation to check in by 6:45. Got there on time and were told it would be a bit longer. Didn’t get seated until almost 8pm. Drinks were overpriced for the size and were weak as hell, never even got the slightest buzz off of two margaritas. Ordered the Angus beef fajitas and the meat was super tough and not good at all. Our fajita toppings didn’t come until we were almost done eating, as well as our plates to actually eat our food on. Our server told us they had none available and once they did arrive, he lied and said they were hot out of the dishwasher when they were stone cold. We are not tourists and will be telling all of our local friends to stay far away from this place and we will never be returning. $150 for dinner and we were beyond disappointed and disgusted with both our food and the service.

Aaron our server was the best. The food was exceptional. We have eaten texmex all over Texas and this by far beats any we have had. A must try. The fajitas and corn tortillas are amazing but the salsa was delicious as well. You can’t go wrong eating here.

I live in Fredericksburg, not a tourist ! Used to live in Houston and visited many times. Our location in the burg surpassed the H-town locations. Have waited to go here due to its newness . Jackpot ! Lunch was great, and the service and atmosphere were spot on. Will definitely return. Have a margarita or two – excellent!

How does one describe this place besides absolutely fantastic. Everything we had here, food wise, drink wise, and service wise was top tier. There is a reason this place is always bustling, so be mindful of what time you visit.
We ordered multiple items, starting with the Katie’s T-sip queso, which was perfect. It had the right combination of queso, meat, and guacamole in every bite. The nachos were exactly how we like them, individually filled with the taco meat having great flavor and could easily be shared as a dish. The ceviche was tasty and acidic, just wish it came with more chips. The taquitos dorados had great flavor and the black beans were too tasty; the beans were packed with seasoning and was a nice change from the usual refried beans. I do wish the taquitos didn’t have the tomatillo sauce on it as those spots got a little soggy.
For the entrees, we opted for a combo #6 plate and the Laredo (not pictured). The combo plate had a beef taco (with homemade shell similar to the taco salad one), an enchilada, and a puffy queso. The taco was perfect and the enchilada was hands down my fav from that dish. I could’ve dealt without the puffy queso; if anything it could be stuffed and probably be better. The Laredo plate had an enchilada, a taco, and a tamale. The tamale was nice and fluffy, like those I remember as a child.
Overall, this place is truly a must visit. The avocado salsa was *chef’s kiss* and my kids asked if we could bring some home. Everything we had was full of well balanced flavors and the service was top notch. When back in Fredericksburg, we will certainly be back! Lastly, everything was priced well; we walked out of there each time without breaking the bank, which was great bc most places now cost at least $100.

Los Tios is a must-visit! The food is outstanding, with the chips and salsa being a personal favorite—fresh and full of flavor. Happy hour starts at 3 PM, making it a perfect spot to unwind.
I can’t say enough about the service, especially from bartender Luke, who was exceptional! His friendly vibe and drink recommendations truly enhanced the experience. If you’re looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere, Los Tios is the place to be!
