I had an amazing experience at Nishiki Sushi in Rensselaer! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and very attentive. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and has a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for a nice dinner.
The sushi was absolutely excellent, incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Every roll I tried was perfectly balanced and tasted fantastic. The presentation was also impressive, showing real care and skill from the kitchen.
Prices are fair for the quality, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Overall, Nishiki Sushi is a great spot for anyone who loves high-quality Japanese food. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful service, fast with the food, tastes really good. They have plenty of sake, beer, and wine to choose from, including plum wine, which i recommend (it is sweet).

Waitress was very good and attentive. The problem was the kitchen. This was the second time a party of 6 ordered food, and the second time my food was brought out after everyone finished eating. It’s a shame because the food is good. The owner needs to oversee the kitchen staff and coordinate the how and when the plates are brought out to the table.

Nice, clean, peaceful place. Everyone is very friendly and helpful with ordering if it’s your first time. I’ve been to many sushi places here in the county and this place is delicious, and fresh. It’s a smaller more intimate dining room with a Sushi Bar and takeout as well!!

I would honestly give this place an above average rating for a sushi bar. The staff was nice but not really friendly, the sushi was good but not game changing and the prices were fair. Definitely worth a stop, because there isn’t much of a good selection of sushi bars in that area anymore. 4 stars.

Love this jewel! It’s a small restaurant, but a nice atmosphere. I haven’t tried a roll I didn’t like, and the service has always been good. Their specials are always good, as well. Highly recommend!

Best Sushi in Area!! Great quality and the rice is perfect! We had the spicy Tina and Alaskan Rolls. Also my friend got Super Volcano Roll which was amazing. Try the poke bowls too, very filling. Thank-you Queena for Having such wonderful fresh food! Go in and try this place out or order for pick up, you won’t regret it!

Great find for me just 2 miles from my Albany hotel. Located in small shopping plaza. Plenty of free parking. Not a fancy place. Plenty of to-go orders flying out the door.
One local realtor has a sushi roll named for her, she designed it per staff, Vera Cohen Roll.
