Sauce, they charge you for it, but they give you a 30% filled little cup. It’s just crazy.

Food and service are great on the other hand, been to other Venezuelan places and prices here seem a little higher as well.

Good experience!!
Food was delicious.
Service was very nice provided by a Colombian young lady. Also, there was a Venezuelan young lady who was very rude and not nice.
Great atmosphere outside !!

One of the best Venezuelan restaurants on the Gold Coast, serving delicious casual Venezuelan plates. While their prices are on the higher side, the exceptional quality of their dishes sets them apart—unmatched by any other Venezuelan spot in the area. Their Sancocho is on the salty side, but it tastes fresh, delicious and I believe it to be the superior dish of the restaurant, as it sets it apart. Their Mango Juice was fresh, and it tasted natural. Lastly, the staff is very friendly, but could be more attentive to patrons that they have dinning in their establishment.

My husband and I decided to check out this new restaurant. The establishment was pleasant and the latin music, a nice touch. We ordered our food “to-go”. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl. The flavors were good, but the quantity was very poor. The photo looks great, but when you receive it, the bowl is only about 1.5 inches deep. They could’ve easily used a deeper bowl, added 2 scoops more of quinoa or even lettuce to “fill” the bowl and make the meal more filling. This would not even hurt their pocket, but would’ve created customers who would return. In summary, the amount of food served, does not justify the amount charged. You should not be hungry after eating a meal. We paid $30 for food ONLY!! Imagine if we ordered drinks or appetizers! For that amount of money, I would’ve definetely enjoyed going to an actual restaurant and be served by a waiter . . . And all because they decided to skimp on the amount of food, we will not be returning. There are too many places that serve “bowls” for less and just as good. (i.e. Pollo Tropical’s Tropichops)

Decided to try this spot with my mom from a TikTok we saw and we were both pleased. The ambiance while small is cozy and friendly, staff was informative and patient. The food quality is superb as it’s all cooked on the spot and fresh. The taste is delicious, we ordered a bowl and beef Arepa. Portions were plentiful and more than fair for the price. Will definitely be returning and recommending!

I feel so bad to leave this reviews, but I think would be ok just to let my personal opinion… starting with the wait was very long, the place it’s very small, uncomfortable to even order since the cashier it’s in a straight hall and then the food didn’t was what I was expecting, I ordered a chicken bowl and came without corn and no onions … you can see the pictures side by side … maybe I went in a wrong time or a wrong day …. But that’s what I experienced!… sorry about !

Review for Arepa Bar

Arepa Bar offers good service, though the wait time can be a bit long. The restaurant is very clean, and the presentation of the dishes is excellent. However, I was disappointed with the sancocho, which I tried during my visit. It only had a two small piece of meat, and for the price. Overall, it seemed overpriced for what it was.

Outstanding flavor and quality

I had the cachapa with shredded beef, and it exceeded my expectations. The cachapa was perfectly balanced—soft, lightly sweet, and fresh, and the shredded beef was tender, well-seasoned, and full of flavor.

Everything tasted fresh and homemade, with generous portions and great attention to detail. You can tell they really care about the food they serve.

Highly recommend Dale Arepa if you want authentic Venezuelan flavors done right. Definitely coming back.

I recently visited dale arepa and tried their arepa frita with eggs, tomato, and onions, and it was delicious. The arepa was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the eggs were cooked just right. The mix of tomato and onions added a really fresh, flavorful touch that made the whole dish come together. The portion was satisfying, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. I’d definitely come back to try more of their menu!

Service was bad.
Waited 35 min for a baked empanada.
The empanada was broken and the chicken was coming out. They also charge extra for a little bit of sauce.
