GRAZERY opened in Downtown Carlisle in July of 2017 with a menu that aimed to be healthy and creative, without giving meat the spotlight in every dish. We created a small menu where almost everything is made from scratch in small batches and found a location in charming Carlisle whose proximity to a vibrant community of farmers with seasonal vegetables, meat, poultry, and eggs has been essential in realizing our menu ideas. This community has embraced us and we hope to continue to be a place where families and friends with varying dietary needs – whether one is Vegan, Vegetarian, follows a Gluten-Free or Dairy-Free diet or will basically eat anything – can all meet and still have a satisfying breakfast and lunch.

I ordered a vegan chocolate cake with raspberry icing on very short notice for pickup on Christmas Eve. The Grazery graciously accommodated my last-minute request and even called to confirm that it would be ready at the exact time I needed. The cake was for my mother’s 80th birthday. While she isn’t vegan, I am—and since I was paying for the cake, I chose the vegan option. Eight people in my family enjoyed it, and it was absolutely out-of-this-world delicious. Several people even went back for seconds! I can’t thank The Grazery enough for such an incredible cake and for helping make the day feel truly special for my mom. The next time I’m in town, I will definitely stop in for a sit-down meal. I WISH I had thought to take a photo of the cake to add to this review! I will be ordering another cake in the future for sure!

Grazery has some of the best food I’ve ever had! Everything is so fresh and healthy! It is so reasonably priced too. The owner & staff are beyond friendly. I eat lunch here at least once a week! If you’ve never been – definitely a must try restaurant!

I have been coming here for a while and have to say that the food is fantastic. Though the prices are a bit higher, and portions are on the smaller side, the quality of the food is always delicious which is why I don’t mind. For the most part I think the service and atmosphere is pretty good. On one occasion I was given something added to my order on accident (I hadnt even realized) and the owner herself came over to let me know and apologize, which was very polite and professional. Though I have always had great interactions with the staff, there have been a few times when I have ordered my meal with the owner and got the vibe that she was a bit irritated or annoyed at me and it felt a bit off putting. I have always been very impressed with how dedicated and hard the owner of this restaurant works, and have usually brushed it off as though maybe I made up or over analyzed the situation. However, recently a friend had a separate incident where she too felt a bit off put by the way she was being spoken to when she ate there. After reading a few reviews it seems that maybe a few other customers have also experienced the same situations

Super happy with the food and staff! They were very busy when we got there for lunch, but the food still came out impressively fast. Also everything tasted amazing for being healthy. Will mention though that it was very loud being there were so many people. I would not recommend working in here. I will be back!

All three vegetarian dishes are exceptional. Their soup is always on point, regardless of the season. This place could do well in swanky places in California. Even the employees have a California vibe to them!

Stopped in for the first time this past weekend, and everything was absolutely amazing. My wife is gluten-free and dairy-free, and they had a wide selection to choose from. Not only was the food amazing, pricing was great and the ambiance was on another level. Will definitely be back!

Sweet Potato stuffed w/ roasted broccoli, arugula, lemon vinaigrette & black sesame seeds which is also vegan and gluten-free.

If you have dietary restrictions or just love healthy food that actually tastes delicious, this is your place! I don’t think I know anything quite like it in the central Pennsylvania area.

I recently started working in the city of Carlisle and was eager to find local restaurants that offered gluten free options. I am very pleased with the options at Grazery! The cauliflower and garlic puree soup was amazing. Very robust and needed no additional seasoning. Brittany (please forgive me if I spelled her name incorrectly) took care of me. She is so sweet and great. I will definitely make this a weekly lunch stop!
