We stopped by for a smoked fried bologna sandwich and couldn’t help but also try a SMOKED EGG on the side for only $1.50. Very reasonable prices. Family owned and operated. Banana pudding too! Counter service with covered seating.

While on a long drive I found this place on a lucky spin of Google (restaurants near me) & decided to give it a try. That was the absolute best decision I’ve made all year! The food is AMAZING! It’s what real, true, how-your-grandmother-made-it, Southern-style home cooking is supposed to be! I could smell it smoking when I pulled into the parking lot. I honestly cannot say enough good about this place! It’s a taste of home that wipes all the chain joints off the map. The people in this city must not know what a gem of a restaurant they have or there would have been no place to park! I often review when something is above the top- in this case, it is off the chain- a home run outa the park- & the best damn BBQ I think I’ve EVER had the pleasure of eating. Do not be put off by the small older facade of the building-it’s clean & welcoming & what’s inside is a blast of delicious old-home cooking that u won’t ever b able to forget. Wow! A+++++++++
Just incredible- ribs, pulled pork,fried catfish were all exceptional! Can’t wait for my return trip so I can try the chicken & dumplings! If u have never eaten here, do urself a favor & go- if u have eaten here then u already kno what I’m talking about! Hats off folks, for the best dinner I’ve had in years!

had to finally give this place a try since it’s right beside my house. these guys did not disappoint! we got a couple of chicken phillies and banana pudding. it was all amazing! super flavorful and fresh! thank you, we will be back. 🙂

First time I went it was amazing, second time was the opposite. Three fried green tomatoes and qtr filled bun isn’t what I expect for $16. Atleast give me a whole tomatoe worth, warm bun, and half a filled sandwich. There was alot of fries and a big drink, but that’s not what I came for…

I have tried this place a few times now to try and give a few chances but every time I’ve eaten here the food has been very poor. I’ve ordered a half pound burger now 3 times and each time the burger bun and cheese didn’t even make it to a half pound, even the DBL quarter pound from McDonald’s was heavier and more accurate. And the only time I have gotten catfish it was so hard and didnt taste like catfish at all, not only that but the pictures they show are not accurate depictions of the portion size you will get. Will not be eating here again

Had to change my review its 2024 and sadly the let down is real. Still great service nice place mom and pops dont know if its just common place now but paid 16$ left hungry food was good but for 16 more than four burnt onion rings would be nice what little food i did get was great but not worth it i wont be back
