I came in here for a healthy, late dinner and was once again pleased to find very fresh salad along with my falafel platter. I had no idea that the owner also owns the location in Hicksville which I have also given a fantastic review.
The prices are very very reasonable and the menu offers a wide variety of items. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and has ample space if you care to dine there instead of eating at home or at the office.
The rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The falafel are absolutely delicious and not mushy or over cooked. The hummus is very creamy and I have to admit is better than mine! The salad is also very fresh. Considering that I patronized this restaurant after 9pm, it is a pleasant surprise to find such fresh food!
The sauces are fabulous! I tried the red sauce the last time and although it is very hot, it is very tasty! The green sauce was even spicier but great on my falafel!
For dessert, the Baklava is delectable! I highly recommend the assorted Baklava.
Kudos to Mr. Bobby, the manager, who was so nice to me and made dinner a great ending to a very long day! His staff are also very nice and made my visit one worth repeating many times! I look forward to going there again very soon!

Today I went to this branch and ordered a chicken sandwich. While eating it, I felt nauseous and the taste was disgusting. I looked at the sandwich and it was not cooked at all. I went to the restaurant and saw this and I feel unwell. I will go to the hospital and see what to do with this nonsense.

These guys offer excellent service, have good manners and great food. They are generous people, and are able to help solve any problems you have. The food is always fresh and amazing. I love eating at halal’s it’s like my 10th time coming here. Never a miss.

This review has less to do the food as much as the online ordering by this chain: the chain
channels its online PICK-UP ordering thru DoorDash, which charges $2 more per dish, even though we were doing our own pick-up. There was no warning nor choice to this rechanneling to DoorDash online ordering. So we ended up paying more than $10 in overcharge: our $40 meal became $50. This is an unconscionable practice. I don’t intend to order from Shah Halal agsin until this is changed and neither should anyone else!

On the phone, the employee was a bit short but was very pleasant in person. Unfortunately, my gyro was over sauced. The foil and paper wrapping were both drenched with sauce and it was a hot mess. I had to squeeze out the excess sauce and re-wrap it at home. Fries were great.
